ROUNDUP: Rush paces Foothill girls track team to win over Silverado

Foothill’s Denica Rush won three events Tuesday to lead the Falcons to a 79-63 win over visiting Silverado in girls track.

Rush won the 100-meter dash in 12.6 seconds. She also took first in the 200 (26.9) and long jump (14 feet, 2 inches).

Bonanza girls win tri-meet
At Clark, Alice Pitts won three events to lead the Bengals to victory in a three-team meet.

Pitts won the high jump (4-10), long jump (14-11 3/8) and triple jump (28-2) as the Bengals finished with 90½ points. Clark (62½ points) was second and Bishop Gorman (39) third.

Shirley Pitts also had a strong meet, wining the 200 (26.0) and 400 (59.2).

Cougars top Basic, Del Sol
At Del Sol, Coronado’s Michaelanne Laurent won the 1,600 (5:20.67) and 3,200 (11:28.75) to lead the Cougars past Basic and Del Sol.

Coronado finished with 94 points, followed by Basic (46) and Del Sol (43).

Rattlers win tri-meet
At Indian Springs, Mojave scored 57½ points to beat The Meadows (33) and Indian Springs (7½).

Jazzmine Robinson led the Rattlers by winning the long jump (14-3) and high jump (4-10).
