ROUNDUP: Van Engen’s three wins help Pahrump girls roll past Clark

Regan Van Engen won three events Thursday to lead Pahrump Valley’s girls track team to a 105-23 victory at Clark.

Van Engen took the high jump at 4 feet, 6 inches, the long jump at 16-0 and the triple jump at 32-8.

Teammate Taylor McJunkin won the 200-meter dash in 26 seconds and the 400 in 1:05.4.

Garcia leads Skyhawks to rout of Dragons
At Silverado, Jasmyn Garcia won the 100 (12.7), 200 (27.1) and long jump (15-1) to lift the host Skyhawks to a 107-15 victory over Del Sol.

Johnson, Underwood lead Valley to win
At Valley, Ashley Johnson and Anne Underwood each won two events to lead the Vikings to the win in a tri-meet.

Valley posted a team score of 89½ points, followed by Canyon Springs (71½) and Sunrise Mountain (25).

Johnson won the 100 (12.7) and 100 hurdles (16.8), and Underwood was first in the 800 (2:32.6) and 1,600 (5:48.3).

Canyon Springs’ Jamila Pullum won the 200 (26.6) and 400 (1:00.2).

Trio lifts Gaels to victory
At Durango, three Bishop Gorman athletes won two events apiece to help the Gaels to 86½ points and a victory over Durango (62½) and Calvary Chapel (6).

Gorman’s April Rivers won the 100 in 12.9 and the 200 in 26.9.

Taylor Stueve took the 800 in 2:37 and the 1,600 in 5:54.
