TRACK: Radley, Basic girls race past Dragons

 

Tristan Radley won three events on Monday to lead Basic’s girls track team to a 96-50 win over visiting Del Sol.

Radley won the 200-meter dash in 28.5 seconds and swept the hurdle events, winning the 100 hurdles in 16.9 and the 300 hurdles in 51.4.

Jessica Raymond won the 800 (2:37.8) and 1,600 (5:53.4) for the Wolves.

Del Sol’s Jazmyne Pascual was first in the discus (31 feet, 7 inches) and shot put (100-6).

Herring, Pioneers roll
At Canyon Springs, Jasmine Herring won three events to power the Pioneers to a 95-27 win over Las Vegas.

Herring won the high jump, long jump (14-3) and triple jump (31-0).

Courtney Robinson and Sierra Stepp each added two individual wins for Canyon Springs.

Robinson won the 100 (11.7) and 100 hurdles (14.1), and Stepp was first in the 1,600 (6:00.2) and 3,200 (12:48.3).

Las Vegas’ Annalicia Panackia was first in the shot put (36-11) and discus (87-8).

Hauck, Mavroudis lead Cougars
At Coronado, Ali Hauck and Morgan Mavroudis each won two individual events to lead the Cougars to a 105-41 win over Eldorado.

Hauck won the high jump (5-0) and triple jump (32-9), and Mavroudis won the 100 hurdles (16.5) and 300 hurdles (49.39).

Eldorado’s Autumn Moore won the 100 (12.93) and long jump (15-4).

Patriots hold off Falcons
At Liberty, Jessica Seel, Shelcy Kaitlyn Sales and Ashlie Blake each won two events to help the Patriots to a 76-66 win over Foothill.

Seel won the 100 hurdles in 16.3 and the 300 hurdles in 51.4. Sales won the 100 in 13.0 and the 200 in 30.0, and Blake claimed the shot put (48-8) and discus (139-9).

Foothill’s Ryanne Bailey won the 800 (2:44.8), the 1,600 (6:18.3) and the pole vault (9-0).

Klem, Trojans roll
At Pahrump, Kaitlin Klem won four events, and Pahrump Valley won every event to roll to victory over Tonopah and Western.

The Trojans had 140 points. Tonopah had 17, and Western had 17.

Klem won the 100 (13.0), 200 (26.7), long jump (16-10) and triple jump (33-8).

Amanda Head took the shot put (34-11) and discus (107-4), and Stefanie Thelaner won the 1,600 (6:17.0) and 3,200 (13:33.0) for Pahrump.
