Spring Break is here, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any high school sports this week. Here is a look at some of the week’s top events.
Noah Ayala, Ian Jackson and Keith Williams ran on three winning distance relay teams Friday to help Arbor View’s boys track team finish first in the O’Dea Relays at Palo Verde.
Joey Fox, Bryant Troupe and Cevion Gurka each won one individual event and ran on two winning relays Thursday to help host Bonanza’s boys track team to a win over Clark and Democracy Prep in a triangular meet.
Karley Brandt and Mel Siaki each won two field events Thursday to lead Desert Oasis’ girls track team to victory in a triangular meet at Durango.
Coronado’s Keaton Daniel cleared 15 feet, 4 inches to win the pole vault on Wednesday in the Cougars’ three-team home meet.
