Crawford, Wildcats rally to edge Panthers

Tyler Crawford had 20 kills and 16 digs, and Las Vegas High’s boys volleyball team rallied from an 11-6 deficit in the final set Friday to nip visiting Palo Verde, 25-19, 21-25, 25-22, 16-25, 22-20.
Luke Hansen logged 55 assists, 17 digs, seven blocks and five kills for the Wildcats.
Las Vegas’ Jace Turner contributed 14 kills, and teammate Aldheir Diaz-Guzman chipped in 18 digs.
Trent Gneiting had 18 kills and eight digs for Palo Verde. Brandon King added 24 kills for the Panthers, and Sean Wilson supplied 46 assists and seven kills.
