Roundup: Alejandro Marin lifts Del Sol over Cheyenne

Alejandro Marin had 16 kills and one block Monday as Del Sol’s boys volleyball team rallied for a 21-25, 25-11,2 5-16, 22-25, 15-9 victory over visiting Cheyenne.

Angel Vargas had 18 assists and two digs for the Dragons. Alan Ramos-Flores had 15 assists, two kills, and two aces, David Anderson had seven kills, and Tyrell Hampton had five kills and five blocks for Del Sol.

Desert Pines 3, Western 1 — At Desert Pines, Anthony Allen had eight kills, and Jose Villa had 28 assists to lead the Jaguars to a 21-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-20 win over the Warriors.

Clarence Harvey added six blocks for Desert Pines.

Jason McCoy led Western with 11 kills, and teammate Bernardo Jimenez-Pascual had 31 assists. Kizhonie Blunt had nine kills and three blocks for the Warriors.

Mojave 3, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Nathaniel Arrendondo had 32 assists as the Rattlers defeated the Cowboys, 19-25, 25-10, 25-20, 25-17.

Tredall Blanchard-Davis added nine kills and four blocks, and Samuel Torrence had seven kills and six blocks for Mojave.

Sky Pointe 3, Tech 1 — Jaegen Driscoll had 24 kills, and Carson Driscoll had 10 kills and four blocks to lead the Eagles over the Roadrunners.

Jaden MacFarlane had six kills for the Eagles, and teammate Danny Cox had two blocks.

Tech’s Ossian Makin had 15 assists, three aces and three digs.

Foothill 3, Rancho 0 — At Foothill, Richard Reid and Tanner Lester each had 11 kills as the Falcons swept the Rams, 25-23, 25-14, 25-16.

Reid also had two aces, and Lester had five digs.

Chandler Higbee had 19 assists, four aces, and four digs for Foothill.

Rancho’s Jesus Gonzalez had 18 assists. Brennan Berti had eight kills, and Adali Rodriguez had four kills for the Rams.

Coronado 3, Eldorado 0 — At Coronado, Ben Bloss had 13 kills and six aces as the Cougars beat the Sundevils, 25-13, 25-10, 25-16.

Matt Wilson added 29 assists and six aces for Coronado.

Adrian Evans had five kills and three digs, and Anthony Tolentino and Dahlton Stack each had three kills and five digs for Eldorado.

Las Vegas 3, Silverado 0 — At Las Vegas, Shaun Kampshoff had 12 kills, 17 assists, and 14 digs as the Wildcats swept the Skyhawks, 25-16, 25-11, 25-21.

Leander Gates had seven kills and seven digs for Las Vegas, and Jaelin Gray had five kills and four blocks for the Wildcats.

Silverado’s Tyler Olsen had seven kills and five aces. Dillon Marshall had 13 digs, and Bravyn Aquino had 11 digs for the Skyhawks.

Basic 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Trevor Robbins had eight kills as the Wolves rolled past the Vikings, 25-23, 25-21, 25-22.

Zachary Miller had 20 assists for the Wolves. Skylar Freitas had six digs, and Dallas Green had four blocks for Basic.

Isaac Frazier had eight kills and six digs for Valley, and teammate Trey Harp had 15 digs and two aces.

Green Valley 3, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Kyle Webb had 10 kills to lead the Gators over the Eagles, 25-22, 25-12, 25-14.

Grayson Boyce had six kills and five aces for Green Valley.

Karson Bailey had nine kills for the Eagles, who got eight assists and two kills from Boen Huxford.

Liberty 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Liberty, Pascual Chavez had 10 kills as the Patriots beat the Pioneers, 25-16, 25-7, 25-14.

Martin Velasco had 38 assists, and Troy-Toese Fautanu had five kills for Liberty.
