ROUNDUP: Andrulis, Arana keep Coronado rolling with win

Charles Andrulis and Bryan Arana each registered 12 kills Tuesday as Coronado’s boys volleyball team collected a 25-7, 25-8, 23-25, 25-15 win at Green Valley.

Andrulis also had four blocks and Arana added five digs. Hunter Chaney set up 36 assists and 12 digs for the Cougars.

Jon Cheun had 10 digs, and Bo Gronert and Spencer Campbell added six kills apiece for the Gators.

Basic 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Stephen Udall distributed 20 assists to help the Wolves sweep the Patriots, 25-13, 25-19, 25-13.

Jordan Pils had 10 kills and four blocks, and Joey Thomas added eight kills for Basic.

James Paras had five digs, and Jeremy Vang notched six digs for Liberty.

Silverado 3, Del Sol 0 — At Silverado, Casey Hadland had 23 assists and five digs in the Skyhawks’ 25-17, 25-19, 25-17 win over the Dragons.

Brian Theophil added seven kills, and Tiree Burton had four blocks and three kills for Silverado.

Nick Maglaras had 20 assists to lead the Dragons. Eric Beil had eight kills and 11 digs, and James Johnson added four kills and three blocks for Del Sol.

Foothill 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Britain Rosenberg had 25 assists as the Falcons swept the Roadrunners, 25-17, 25-22, 25-15.

F.J. Funtila added 11 kills for the Falcons.

Dalton Webb and Mikey Maglich had four kills apiece for the Roadrunners.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Ares Manumaleuna and Tanner Maxwell each put down six kills to lead the Spartans to a 25-14, 25-9, 25-23 win over the Rattlers.

Brian Grute added 10 aces and Aaron Bowers tallied six for Cimarron-Memorial.

Greg Guese had 12 digs, and Demarge Boyd spiked five kills for Mojave.

Centennial 3, Legacy 0 — At Centennial, Leo Durkin dished out 38 assists and added five aces, and Ryan Ramin supplied 12 kills and three aces as the Bulldogs beat the Longhorns 25-18, 25-13, 25-12.

Matt Kurtz tallied 11 kills, and Mike Robinson added six kills and three blocks for Centennial.

Dylan Witecki had nine kills, and Hector Bojado passed out six assists for Legacy.

Palo Verde 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Palo Verde, Sean Wilson distributed 24 assists, and Nick Hipwell supplied 11 kills as the Panthers swept the Desert Shields 25-8, 25-19, 25-19.

Brandon King added six kills for Palo Verde.

Ervin Leu had four assists and three kills for Cheyenne.

Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Jeremy Makaiwi tallied 36 assists and 12 digs, and Taylor Lancaster added 14 digs and 12 kills to help the Mustangs beat the Aggies 25-8, 25-22, 26-24.

Jake Shea added 17 kills for Shadow Ridge.

Taylor Jones led Arbor View with 26 assists, and Kealyn Butler and Kirby Mengert each supplied nine kills.
