ROUNDUP: Brautigam, Durango come on strong to beat Western

Mark Brautigam spiked 15 kills to help Durango’s boys volleyball team to a 21-25, 25-18, 19-25, 25-11, 15-10 victory Wednesday at Western.

Gary House and Landon Wina supplied 10 kills each and Dustin Ybarra had 18 digs for Durango.

Kyler Smith had 15 digs, and Deion Harrell had 15 kills for the Warriors.

Spring Valley 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Dallas Teshima compiled 20 assists and six aces as the Grizzlies defeated the Diamondbacks, 25-18, 25-17, 25-22.

Khoa Nguyen added 13 kills and seven blocks and Thomas Ricca 10 kills for Spring Valley.

Trevor Zarvarian had seven assists for Desert Oasis.

Sierra Vista 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Cody Seager had seven kills and four blocks to lead the Mountain Lions past the Chargers, 25-14, 25-17, 25-15.

Jordan Claudio had five kills, and Preston Miranda added five assists for Sierra Vista.

George Huang led Clark with five blocks.

Las Vegas 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas, Danny Farias had 38 assists, three kills and two aces, and Aaron Hansen contributed 11 kills and seven digs as the Wildcats beat the Pioneers, 25-16, 25-18, 25-19.

Braeden Wilson supplied 10 digs and eight kills for Las Vegas.

Canyon Springs’ Kapahu Kahapelo had 15 assists, four kills and two aces, and Raymond Esteves added 15 assists and three kills.

Rancho 3, Desert Pines 1 — At Rancho, Antonio Boucher had 18 kills to carry the Rams past the Jaguars, 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-11.

Kevin Wadsworth added 33 assists, and Adam Johnson had six blocks and seven kills for the Rams.

Chaparral 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Carlos Chandia had 17 assists, four kills and three digs to help Chaparral earn a 25-19, 25-21, 25-20 victory over the Sundevils.

DeAndre Marshall added six kills and seven aces for the Cowboys. LeAndre Dunbar had seven kills and three blocks. D.J. Grassie added six digs and four kills and Wayne To’o five aces and four digs for Chaparral.

Silverado 3, Foothill 0— At Foothill, Casey Hadland recorded 22 assists, nine digs and two aces to help Silverado beat the Falcons, 25-10, 25-11, 25-22.

Christian Espina had 15 kills and three aces, and Brian Theophil added 10 digs for the Skyhawks.

Cody Clay had nine kills for Foothill.
