Roundup: Del Sol rallies to top Chaparral

Alejandro Marin had 19 kills, and Alan Ramos-Flores had 28 assists to guide Del Sol’s boys volleyball team to a 21-25, 25-15, 26-24, 25-21 home win over Chaparral on Friday.

David Anderson had 10 kills for Del Sol.

Robert McGregor had seven kills and 21 assists for Chaparral, and Juan Benitez had eight kills and 12 assists.

Cheyenne 3, Sky Pointe 1 — At Cheyenne, Brian Orellana had 17 assists, and Ethan Cruz recorded 17 digs to help the Desert Shields defeat the Eagles, 25-22, 15-25, 25-13, 25-14.

Anthony Walker had nine kills, and Dominique Cook added five kills for Cheyenne.

Jaegen Driscoll led Sky Pointe with 13 kills.

Mojave 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Daronde McKinney led the Rattlers with nine kills as they defeated the Miners, 25-19, 25-17, 25-13.

Rattlers’ Michael Jones also had 19 assists and Christian Espinoza had eight aces and eight digs.

Miners’ Emerald Acasili had 9 kills, Elijah Bright had 10 digs, and Johnny Pedraza had 10 assists and eight digs.

Eldorado 3, Western 0 — At Western, Adrian Evans had 12 kills, one ace and two blocks to lead the Sundevils past the Warriors, 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Dahlton Stack had eight kills, three aces and two digs, and Ivan Povalin had five kills, once ace and two blocks.

Kizhonie Blunt had four kills and one dig, and Julio Gamet dished out seven assists and had one ace for the Warriors.

Bonanza 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Kadin Warner had eight kills, five digs, and five blocks as the Bengals shutout the Vikings, 25-13, 25-12, 25-9.

Mataio Valoaja also had eight blocks and Victor Fajardo had four kills and three aces.

Valley’s Trey Harp had nine digs.

Tech 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Pierce Zaman led the Roadrunners with six kills and five digs as they shut out the Jaguars, 25-16, 25-13, 25-14.

Tech’s James Pool also had five kills and two digs and Justin Lolong had six digs and one ace.
