ROUNDUP: Diaz helps host Wildcats down Cougars

Ezany Diaz had 41 assists, four aces and 11 digs to help Las Vegas High’s boys volleyball team rally for a 16-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-19 win over visiting Coronado on Tuesday.

Garrett Jones added 14 kills and 11 digs for Las Vegas, and Jace Turner supplied 14 kills and four blocks for the Wildcats.

Coltin Romney led Coronado with 16 digs. Austin Moiseyev had eight kills, and teammate Jacob Pankey had six kills and three blocks for the Cougars.

Green Valley 3, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Dimitri Santos had 35 assists, and Wesley Reed had 14 kills and six blocks to help the Gators down the Lions, 25-21, 25-13, 22-25, 25-17.

James Byrne supplied 11 kills and five aces for Green Valley.

Sierra Vista’s Paolo Lee dished out 23 assists, Joshua Sison tallied 12 digs and Alec DeMarrias had nine kills for Sierra Vista.

Shadow Ridge 3, Silverado 1 — At Silverado, Cody Tesoro notched 30 digs, and teammate Tanner Maxwell recorded 21 kills as the Mustangs topped the Skyhawks, 13-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-23.

Brandon Fisher had 12 kills for Shadow Ridge.

Curtis Hadland led Silverado with 13 kills and 12 digs. Kyle Divicino added 15 kills for the Skyhawks.

Western 3, Tech 1 — At Western, U.L. Jamerson had 22 assists, and Vadell Wilson added 15 kills to lead the Warriors to a 25-21, 24-26, 28-26, 25-17 win over the Roadrunners.

Wesley Hults added three aces and three digs for Western.

Dalton Webb led Tech with 14 kills. Edwin Lopez added 17 assists, and teammate Hector Galvin had 13 assists for the Roadrunners.

Canyon Springs 3, Clark 1 — At Clark, Jon Jason Duhaylungsod had 26 assists, and Adam Tuala posted 18 kills as the Pioneers nipped the Chargers, 25-17, 25-27, 25-11, 25-9.

Barnidino Faulato added eight blocks, and James Harris served five aces for Canyon Springs.

Raydel Perez led the Chargers with nine kills, and Glenn Green had five blocks.

Desert Pines 3, Mojave 0 — At Desert Pines, Justin Ngarmnet had 21 assists, and Bryan Garcia supplied 17 digs as the Jaguars swept the Rattlers, 25-21, 25-11, 25-21.

Trevor Krystek added seven kills and three blocks, and Julian Jacobs had eight kills for Desert Pines.

Christian Limtiaco led Mojave with seven assists, four blocks and three digs, and teammate Darryl Miller-Green contributed five kills, three digs and two blocks.

Arbor View 3, Eldorado 0 — At Arbor View, Richie Garness had 25 assists, six kills and five digs to help the Aggies sweep the Sundevils, 25-19, 25-19, 25-18.

Dylan Mengert had nine digs, six kills and three blocks, and Darrell Swanson supplied 12 digs and seven kills for Arbor View.

Jacob Hollingsworth had 10 kills and six blocks, and teammate David Tran had seven kills for Eldorado.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Basic 0 — At Cimarron, Braydon Egbert had nine kills, five digs and two blocks to help the Spartans sweep the Wolves, 25-19, 25-16, 26-24.

Taylor Larsen and N.J. Makaiwi each had 12 assists, and teammate Kyle Henrikson supplied seven kills for Cimarron.

Emilio Muares had eight blocks and four kills, and Ian Cassasola tallied seven kills and three blocks for Basic.
