ROUNDUP: Divicino powers Skyhawks past visiting Gators

Kyle Divicino had 13 kills, and Indigo Varela supplied 34 assists Thursday to help Silverado’s boys volleyball team to a 25-17, 15-25, 27-25, 25-15 win over visiting Green Valley.

Jordan Royal added nine kills for the Skyhawks.

Garrett Bird led Green Valley with 12 kills. Beau Gronert added 11 kills, and teammate Wesley Reed had nine kills for the Gators.

Del Sol 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Nick Maglaras distributed 21 assists as the Dragons downed the Falcons, 25-11, 25-22, 25-16.

Cameron Ely had 11 digs and four kills, and Kevin Fitzpatrick contributed eight kills for Del Sol.

Dominic Hoffman had 10 assists for Foothill, and Kendall Andrews supplied eight digs.

Coronado 3, Basic 0 — At Coronado, Byrin Romney had 36 assists and three blocks to lead the Cougars to a 25-14, 25-18, 25-19 win over Basic.

Jahren Makanoa contributed 14 kills and five digs, and Chris Andrulis added nine kills and six digs for Coronado.

Tanner Humphreys led Basic with 10 digs and nine kills. Mark Bowman added six blocks for the Wolves.

Tech 3, Liberty 0 — At Tech, Dalton Webb had eight kills to lead the Roadrunners to a 25-18, 25-20, 25-22 victory over the Patriots.

Hector Galvan added 13 assists, four kills and two aces, and teammate Edwin Lopez added five kills and two aces for Tech.

Kyle Kaleb led Liberty with six kills and 13 assists. Daniel Filimona added five kills and three aces, and Gil Lim had four kills and three aces for the Patriots.

Cheyenne 3, Mojave 0 — At Cheyenne, Cameron Patterson put down six kills, and Carlos Mezquitan dished out eight assists as the Desert Shields swept the Rattlers, 25-9, 25-10, 25-12.

Palo Verde 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Brandon King had 13 kills and 10 digs as the Panthers swept the Longhorns, 25-13, 25-2, 25-17.

Sean Wilson added 18 assists, three digs and two kills, and Pat Morrison had six digs and four kills for Palo Verde.

Erik Valerio led Legacy with nine assists and three digs. Jared Cox added six kills, and Justin Paquin had four digs and three kills for the Longhorns.

Centennial 3, Arbor View 0 — At Centennial, Mike Robinson had 21 assists, five kills and four aces as the Bulldogs swept the Aggies, 25-14, 26-24, 25-21.

Leo Durkin added 12 kills, and Sean Deaver supplied five kills for Centennial.

Shiloh Pacacheck paced Arbor View with 10 kills, and teammate Nicco Buffalino had eight kills.

Sierra Vista 3, Western 1 — At Sierra Vista, Cameron Carlson had 21 kills, and Preston Miranda added 31 assists, five kills and five digs to lead the Mountain Lions past the Warriors, 25-14, 25-15, 21-25, 25-19.

Aaron Buckley had 13 kills, and Nash McIntosh dished out 19 assists to lead Western.

Bonanza 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Cru Leavitt had 17 assists, eight kills and five blocks to help the Bengals cruise past the Grizzlies, 25-18, 25-15, 25-12.

Price Jarman added 13 kills and three blocks for Bonanza, and teammate Craig Whiting had 13 assists.

Blake Ringer led Spring Valley with nine kills.
