ROUNDUP: Durango boys push past Pioneers
Paris Estrada had 14 kills, and Pedro Abrego dished out 32 assists and added three aces to help the Durango boys volleyball team outlast Canyon Springs 25-19, 25-27, 25-18, 23-25, 15-11 on Friday.
Rontraye Rainey chipped in with 12 kills and eight blocks for the Trailblazers.
Immanuel Tufuga (16 kills, 12 digs) and Carl Esteban (22 assists, six digs) led the Pioneers.
Eldorado 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Eldorado, Jacob Hollingsworth and Michael Ahn had nine kills apiece to power the Sundevils over the Jaguars, 25-8, 25-21, 25-23.
Cody Ence contributed 10 digs, and Michael Thomas had 12 assists for Eldorado.
Bryan Garcia tallied 14 digs, 10 assists and two blocks to lead the way for Desert Pines.
