ROUNDUP: Durkin helps Bulldogs hold off Mustangs

Leo Durkin had 37 assists and nine kills Friday to lead Centennial’s boys volleyball team to a 25-18, 22-25, 25-16, 26-24 win at Shadow Ridge.

Dylan Morris had 21 kills, and Ryan Ramin added 15 kills for the Bulldogs.

Cody Tesoro totaled 23 digs, and Brandon Fisher had 15 kills to lead the Mustangs.

Palo Verde 3, Arbor View 1 — At Palo Verde, Sean Wilson had 39 assists and 10 digs as the Panthers defeated the Aggies, 25-19, 25-16, 24-26, 25-11.

Brandon King added 17 kills for Palo Verde, and teammate Jordyn Martin contributed six kills.

Richie Garness led Arbor View with 43 assists and 14 digs. Teammate Kealyn Butler had 18 kills, and Gennady Shataev added 13 digs.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Ares Manumaleuna had 14 kills to lead the Spartans to a 25-21, 25-17, 25-16 victory over the Desert Shields.

Hunter Stratton helped Cimarron with 11 kills, and teammate Taylor Larsen distributed 25 assists.

Casey Johansen had eight kills and an ace to lead Cheyenne, which got 10 assists, three digs and two blocks from Carlos Mezquitan.

Legacy 3, Mojave 0 — At Legacy, Justin Paquin had 13 kills, and Jordan Pinkney added 12 kills to lead the Longhorns to a 25-13, 25-20, 25-20 sweep of the Rattlers.

Erik Valerio had 33 assists and four kills for Legacy.

Green Valley 3, Basic 0 — At Green Valley, Nick Hevrin dished out 30 assists, and Michael Martinez had 10 digs as the Gators swept the Wolves, 25-18, 25-11, 25-20.

Vimal Patel had eight kills, and Beau Gronert had seven kills for Green Valley.

Tanner Humphreys totaled 12 digs and 10 kills, and Robbie Nelson added 16 digs for Basic.

Coronado 3, Foothill 0 — At Coronado, Austin Moiseyev had six kills, three blocks and two aces to help the Cougars cruise to a 25-9, 25-9, 25-14 win over the Falcons.

Chris Andrulis added five kills, two blocks and three aces, and Byrin Romney had 24 assists for Coronado.

Tyler Close led Foothill with six kills.

Del Sol 3, Liberty 0 — At Del Sol, Eric Beil had 16 kills to help the Dragons roll past the Patriots, 25-11, 25-15, 25-13.

Kevin Fitzpatrick added 12 kills for Del Sol, and teammate Nick Maglaras notched 30 assists.

Gil Lim had four digs and four assists for Liberty.

Silverado 3, Tech 0 — At Silverado, Jordan Royal had 10 kills, and Steven Jex added eight kills as the Skyhawks swept the Roadrunners, 25-6, 25-21, 25-16.

Brian Theophil added six kills, and Vinny Gomez supplied 11 digs for Silverado.

Dalton Webb paced Tech with four kills and seven digs.
