ROUNDUP: Gaels rally from two-game deficit to nip Trailblazers

Ryan Parks had 10 kills and 12 digs Thursday to help Bishop Gorman’s boys volleyball team rally for an 18-25, 17-25, 25-16, 26-24, 15-5 win over host Durango.
Cody Wing added 10 digs, and Ronnie Stanley had six blocks for Gorman.
Durango’s Jared Parker posted 13 kills, and Gary House added 12 kills. Jarrett Quiacusan supplied 25 digs for the Trailblazers, and Jake Jackson dished out 34 assists.
Sierra Vista 3, Western 0 — At Sierra Vista, Cameron Carlson had 12 kills and two blocks to help the Mountain Lions to a 25-12, 25-22, 25-23 sweep of Western.
Paolo Lee dished out 14 assists, and Jordan Claudio added nine kills for Sierra Vista.
Clark 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, David Samson distributed 30 assists, and George Huang tallied nine kills and two blocks to lead the Chargers past the Diamondbacks 25-14, 25-19, 25-22.
Matthew Ruedas had 11 kills, and Joshua Baugus added six kills for Clark.
Trevor Zarvian supplied 20 assists and five kills for Desert Oasis. Zack Bobenhausen had 11 kills and two assists, and Danny Eslinger added five kills and three digs for the Diamondbacks.
Rancho 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Kamran Baig dished out 38 assists to lead the Rams to a 25-21, 25-17, 25-13 road sweep of the Vikings.
Antonio Boucher put down 17 kills and Kevin Plascencia added 14 for Rancho.
Carl Ajuziem had 16 assists, and Julio Fierro contributed six kills for Valley.
Las Vegas 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Ronnie Adams registered eight kills and three aces as Las Vegas swept the Sundevils, 25-10, 25-8, 25-12.
Braeden Wilson and Jimichael Baker each had six kills for the Wildcats.
Desert Pines 3, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Michael Tran supplied 31 assists and four aces to help Desert Pines rally past Canyon Springs, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-20.
Peter Soderberg had 32 digs, and Dominique Lawrence added 23 kills for the Jaguars.
Jon Duhaylungsod dished out 66 assists to lead the Pioneers. Adrian Snow added 23 kills and 24 blocks, and Eric Gutierrez had 10 kills and 18 blocks for Canyon Springs.
Sunrise Mountain 3, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, the Miners posted a 25-15, 30-28, 25-17 sweep of the Cowboys.
