ROUNDUP: Gorme, Rancho boys rally past Jaguars

Darnel Gorme had 20 kills, 14 digs and two blocks Monday to help Rancho’s boys volleyball team rally for a 20-25, 19-25, 25-23, 25-20, 15-10 win at Desert Pines.

Aaron Robles added 30 assists and three aces, and Aaron Virani had 15 kills and four digs for the Rams.

Bryan Garcia had 23 assists and three blocks for the Jaguars, who got seven kills from Jose Meza and 32 digs from Justin Ngarmnet.

Basic 3, Mojave 1 — At Basic, Taylor Dyer had 27 assists to help the Wolves to a 25-16, 20-25, 25-13, 26-24 win over the Rattlers.

Will Fitzpatrick had nine kills, and Joaquin Pequeno had seven blocks for Basic.

Christian Limtiaco had 17 kills, and Jovan Carrazco added 35 assist for Mojave.

Legacy 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Legacy, Trent Compton had 10 kills, 11 digs and three aces, and Tanner Compton added eight kills, four blocks and 18 digs to help the Longhorns to a 25-11, 25-14, 25-17 win over the Pioneers.

Braden Liu had 27 assists and four aces, and Antoine Tillmon supplied six digs, five kills and two aces for Legacy.

Carl Esteban had nine assists, and Burnadino Faulafo had five blocks for Canyon Springs, which got three digs from Jose Piedra.

Foothill 3, Green Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Kendall Andrews tallied 12 kills as the Falcons swept the Gators, 25-19, 25-17, 25-18.

Jordan Primo distributed 16 assists, and Chansten Chow had eight kills for Foothill.

Arvin Nitollana had eight assists for Green Valley, which got four kills from Bryan Ellington and two aces from Tyler Topham.

Desert Oasis 3, Durango 0 — At Desert Oasis, Austin Becker dished out 36 assists to help the Diamondbacks sweep the Trailblazers, 25-23, 25-14, 26-24.

Saunoa Afoa had 11 kills, and Qwade Huff added nine kills for Desert Oasis, which got eight kills from Kodi Leslie.

Pedro Abrego had 15 assists, and Paris Estrada added 10 digs for the Trailblazers. Rontraye Rainey had eight kills, and Davante Cooper added seven blocks for Durango.

Palo Verde 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Andrew Weston had 29 assists and nine digs to lead the Panthers past the Spartans, 25-23, 25-15, 25-14.

Mitchell Scott supplied eight kills and four aces and Mitchell Tingey had seven kills for Palo Verde, which got eight kills and four digs from E.J. Vanderstelt.

Taylor Larsen led the Spartans with 19 assists and eight digs. Salvador Garcia added nine kills and three blocks, and Kyle Henriksen had seven digs and six kills for Cimarron.

Silverado 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Silverado, Curtis Hadland had eight kills and three aces, and Jake Gottfredson added 19 assists and four kills as the Skyhawks topped the Mountain Lions, 25-22, 25-11, 25-17.

Joey Sharp-Haltin had five kills and four blocks for Silverado.

Clyde Balagtas hit seven kills for Sierra Vista.

Valley 3, Clark 0 — At Valley, Jack Heavey had 11 kills, five digs and five blocks to help the Vikings top the Chargers, 25-7, 25-12, 25-20.

Sean Carter racked up 29 assists, three digs and two aces, and Lorenzo Capannolo added six kills, four aces and two digs for Valley.
