ROUNDUP: Hollings helps Sierra Vista boys rally past Trailblazers

Tyler Hollings had 19 kills Monday to help Sierra Vista’s boys volleyball team to a 25-20, 23-25, 23-25, 25-20, 15-13 win at Durango.

Victor Garcia had 16 digs, and Pedro Abrego distributed 14 assists for the Trailblazers. Rontraye Rainey added eight kills and seven blocks, and Davante Cooper had six blocks for Durango.

Valley 3, Green Valley 1 — At Green Valley, Sean Carter tallied 36 assists and 11 digs, and Jack Heavey added 15 kills and 17 digs as the Vikings topped the Gators, 21-25, 27-25, 25-21, 26-24.

Matt Ballaro contributed 16 kills and 10 digs, and David Delaney had 12 digs and three assists for Valley.

Jake Johnson had 22 kills and eight digs, and Arvin Nitollama supplied 23 assists, seven digs and three aces for Green Valley, which got seven digs and three aces from Kyle Accardy.

Silverado 3, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Shawn Steckel had 22 assists, seven kills and five digs, and Curtis Hadland added 19 kills, three digs, three aces and three blocks as the Skyhawks downed the Rams, 22-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-13.

Joey Sharp-Halpin had nine kills and five blocks, and Austin Hunt supplied six kills, four digs and two blocks for Silverado.

Aaron Robles had 18 assists and three digs, and Aaron Virani added eight kills for Rancho.

Palo Verde 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Palo Verde, Brigham Clawson finished with 11 kills, and Andrew Weston added 26 assists as the Panthers swept the Grizzlies, 25-14, 25-11, 25-10.

Mitchell Tingey chipped in with five kills and 14 digs for Palo Verde.

Arthur Marutyan led Spring Valley with two kills and four digs. Teammate Jim Tran had two aces.

Las Vegas 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas, Evany Diaz dished out 18 assists, and Brian Singson supplied seven kills and four digs to lead the Wildcats to a 25-12, 25-13, 25-9 sweep of the Pioneers.

Guillermo Gonzalez added five kills and seven digs, and Evan Kindard had eight digs for Las Vegas.

Carl Esteban had five kills and 10 assists, and Immanuel Tufuga added seven kills for Canyon Springs, which got four kills and three digs from Jose Piedra.

Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Richard Sterling had 20 kills and seven blocks to power the Mustangs over the Aggies, 25-16, 25-13, 25-22.

A.J. Makaiwi tallied 16 digs, and Quinn Peterson supplied eight blocks and five kills for Shadow Ridge.

Sam Buckels had 12 kills and four blocks, and Darien Bradley finished with 10 digs, eight kills and five blocks for Arbor View.
