ROUNDUP: Jackson sets up Durango for upset win over Sierra Vista

Jake Jackson had 29 assists as Durango’s boys volleyball team earned a 25-12, 24-26, 25-18, 21-25, 15-9 victory over host Sierra Vista on Tuesday.

Mark Brautigam added 13 kills and 12 digs for the Trailblazers, and teammate Jared Parker tallied nine kills.

Preston Miranda led the Mountain Lions with 32 assists.

Clark 3, Bishop Gorman 1 — At Gorman, George Huang had 11 kills and four blocks to help the Chargers to a 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 25-19 win over the Gaels.

David Samson added 27 assists and four blocks for Clark, which got eight kills from Matthew Ruedas and six kills from Johnny Phane.

Cody Wing recorded seven digs for the Gaels.

Rancho 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Kevin Plascencia had 30 assists, and Antonio Boucher added 16 kills and four aces to help the Rams sweep the Pioneers, 25-20, 25-22, 25-17.

Adam Johnson produced nine kills and five blocks for Rancho.

Jon Duhaylungsod distributed 40 assists, and teammate Adam Tuala had 11 kills and 10 blocks for Canyon Springs.

Spring Valley 3, Western 0 — At Spring Valley, Dallas Teshima dished out 24 assist to help the Grizzles to a 25-12, 25-8, 25-12 victory over the Warriors.

Jayvin Garcia supplied nine kills, and Blake Ringer added eight kills for Spring Valley.

Valley 3, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Carl Ajuziem had 24 assists, three kills, four aces, three blocks and four digs as the Vikings swept the Cowboys, 25-12, 25-11, 25-20.

Taylor Herrington supplied six kills, two aces and nine digs, and Julio Fierro added nine kills for Valley.

Bonanza 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Cru Leavitt tallied 12 assists as the Bengals defeated the Dimaondbacks, 25-16, 25-9, 25-16.

Jared Harrington produced 11 kills and four blocks for Bonanza.

Trevor Zarvian supplied 11 assists and two kills, and Zach Bobenhausen added six kills for the Diamondbacks.

Desert Pines 3, Eldorado 0 — At Desert Pines, Michael Tran had 12 assists and Dominique Lawrence added eight kills to lead the Jaguars to a 25-19, 25-9, 25-18 win over the Sundevils.

Peter Soderberg added 16 digs for Desert Pines.

Las Vegas 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Las Vegas, Braeden Wilson racked up 13 kills and 14 digs as the Wildcats swept the Miners, 25-16, 25-11, 25-9.

Luke Hansen added 36 assists, and Tyler Wilson supplied 11 digs for the Wildcats.
