ROUNDUP: June marches Mountain Lions past Chargers

Chase June had 14 kills on Thursday as Sierra Vista’s boys volleyball team topped visiting Clark, 25-22, 15-25, 29-27, 26-24.
Preston Miranda dished out 36 assists for the Mountain Lions (7-9, 7-5 Southwest League).
George Huang had 24 kills and 11 digs to lead Clark (9-7, 8-4). David Samson added 33 assists, eight kills and seven digs for the Chargers.
Spring Valley 3, Desert Oasis 1 — At Spring Valley, Parker Slade notched 11 kills as the Grizzlies defeated the Diamondbacks, 26-24, 21-25, 28-26, 25-15.
Donald Keith had seven blocks, and Jordan Ringer supplied nine kills for Spring Valley.
Zach Bobenhausen led Desert Oasis with 20 kills. Trevor Zarvian added 40 assists, and Cameron Mich’l had 12 kills for the Diamondbacks.
Bonanza 3, Bishop Gorman 0 — At Bonanza, Cru Leavitt had 10 kills and three blocks to help the Bengals roll the Gaels, 25-17, 25-17, 25-15 and clinch the Southwest League title.
Craig Whiting added 36 assists for Bonanza, and teammates Price Jarman and Jared Hyer each finished with eight kills and three blocks.
Bobby Houser had 15 kills, and Cameron Tom distributed 23 assists for Gorman.
Rancho 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Nathan Campo had 15 assists and five aces, and Guillermo Silva added 11 kills to lead the Rams to a 25-12, 25-18, 25-14 win over the Sundevils.
Kyle Stankosky recorded 10 kills for Rancho, and teammate Kendall Reynolds had 11 assists.
Durango 3, Western 0 — At Durango, Caleb Snook had 13 assists and five digs, and Sam Ditterline added nine kills as the Trailblazers swept the Warriors, 25-22, 25-16, 25-23.
Daniel Bernard supplied seven digs and Preston Scott contributed six kills for Durango.
Western’s Nash McIntosh dished out 15 assists, and Ryan Vaughn had 10 kills for the Warriors.
Desert Pines 3, Chaparral 0 — At Desert Pines, Tui Poutasi had 14 digs and seven kills as the Jaguars downed the Cowboys, 27-25, 25-15, 25-11.
Tony Savea added 20 assists, and Trevor Kristek had six blocks for Desert Pines.
Canyon Springs 3, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Pioneers defeated the Miners, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18, 25-15.
