ROUNDUP: Maglaras helps Del Sol rally to win over Green Valley

Nick Maglaras had 51 assists and 10 digs Thursday to help Del Sol’s boys volleyball team rally for a 30-28, 19-25, 23-25, 25-23, 15-13 win over visiting Green Valley.

Eric Beil had 17 kills and 16 digs for the Dragons, and teammate Aaron Rife provided 16 kills and four blocks.

Cameron Ely added 12 digs, and James Johnson supplied nine kills for Del Sol.

Basic 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Stephen Udall distributed 27 assists and five digs, and Jordan Pils had 11 kills and four digs as the Wolves swept the Falcons, 25-14, 25-14, 25-16.

Weston Crum and Joey Thomas each had six kills for Basic.

Shadow Ridge 3, Palo Verde 0 — At Palo Verde, Jake Shea registered 15 kills, 11 digs and five blocks as the Mustangs cruised to a  25-15, 25-14, 25-21 sweep of the Panthers.

Jeremy Makaiwi supplied 37 assists and 19 digs for Shadow Ridge, and Tyler Lancaster added 12 kills and 12 digs.

Sean Wilson led Palo Verde with 28 assists and four blocks. Nick Hipwell added nine kills, and Pat Morrisson had nine digs for the Panthers.

Legacy 3, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Cimarron, Justin Paquin had 13 kills, and Hector Bojado tallied 31 assists to lead the Longhorns to a 25-22, 25-21, 22-25, 30-28 win over the Spartans.

Brandon Paquin added six blocks for Legacy.

Tanner Maxwell led Cimarron with 16 kills and 18 assists. Ares Manumaleuna added six kills and eight blocks for the Spartans.

Desert Pines 3, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Desert Pines, Dominique Lawrence had 11 kills and five aces to lead the Jaguars to a 25-14, 20-25, 25-19, 25-16 win over the Miners.

Daniel Aguilar added 24 digs, and teammate Dalton Leilua had 18 assists for Desert Pines.

Arbor View 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Kirby Mengert had 11 kills, four aces and nine digs to lead the Aggies to a 25-18, 26-24, 25-9 win over the Desert Shields.

Taylor Jones had 27 assists for Arbor View.

Ervin Leu led Cheyenne with eight kills and three assists. Shaq Wilson added five kills, and Kevin Machuca had nine assists for the Desert Shields.

Silverado 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Casey Hadland had 33 assists and five digs to help the Skyhawks to a 25-13, 25-14, 25-18 win over the Patriots.

Vinnie Gomez added nine kills and five aces, and Jordan Royal supplied seven kills and four digs for Silverado.

Paul Acluba paced Liberty with 16 assists and three digs, and Carlos Monroy added five kills and four blocks.

Centennial 3, Mojave 0 — At Centennial, Sean Deaver had eight aces and three kills to lead the Bulldogs to a 25-13, 25-6, 25-14 sweep of the Rattlers.

Dylan Morris added three kills and two aces for Centennial, and Conner Earl dished out 12 assists.

Canyon Springs 3, Chaparral 0 — At Canyon Springs, Jon Duhaylungsod had  40 assists and four aces to help the Pioneers sweep the Cowboys, 25-13, 25-16, 25-21.

Adrian Snow had 19 kills, Eric Gutierrez added 12 kills, and Joseph Cruz had 14 assists for the Pioneers.

Coronado 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Hunter Chaney supplied 32 assists and five aces to lift the Cougars to a 25-12, 25-8, 25-7 victory over the Roadrunners.

Jordan Osmundson had 10 kills, Byrin Romney tallied nine kills, and Keith Hemenway added 10 digs for Coronado.

Valley 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Taylor Harrington had 12 kills and three aces to lead the Vikings to a 25-11, 25-11, 25-11 sweep.

Ignacio Diaz and Julio Fierro added eight kills each for Valley.

Carl Ajuziem contributed 23 assists and four aces for the Vikings, and teammate Mauricio Molina supplied eight digs and four aces.
