ROUNDUP: Shadow Ridge sweeps Centennial, solidifies Northwest lead

Jeremy Makaiwi dished out 36 assists, and Jake Shea had 18 kills, helping Shadow Ridge’s boys volleyball team defeat visiting Centennial 25-20, 28-26, 25-22 to open a two-game lead in the Northwest League on Tuesday.
Jeff Elmer had 15 digs and Ryan Nolan 13 kills for Shadow Ridge, which improved to 10-0 with four league matches remaining.
Jeff Mecham had 31 assists and Drew Staker supplied 10 kills and six blocks for Centennial, which dropped into a tie for second with Palo Verde at 8-2.
Palo Verde 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Matthew Lish dished out 35 assists to carry the Panthers to a 25-17, 25-14, 25-18 victory over the Aggies.
Tyler Capko added 14 kills, and Matthew Phillips made 14 digs to lead Palo Verde.
Ray Lewis had six kills and Jesse Morgan eight digs for Arbor View.
Legacy 3, Mojave 0 — At Legacy, Ben Noel had eight kills and four aces to lead the host Longhorns to a 25-11, 25-9, 30-28 sweep of the Rattlers.
Erwin Dizon added 11 assists for Legacy. Dawayne George led Mojave with three kills.
Cimarron-Memorial 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Triton Manumaleuna compiled 15 digs, six kills and five aces to help the Spartans beat the Desert Shields, 25-12, 25-18, 25-23.
Scott Beckwith added 12 kills and eight digs, and Braydon Egbert had 12 digs for Cimarron.
Neil Larson had six assists for Cheyenne, and Rodgerick Moore added five kills.
Sierra Vista 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Cody Seager’s 10 kills helped Sierra Vista post a 25-16, 25-14, 25-18 victory over the Grizzlies.
Marvi Sanchez added nine kills for the Mountain Lions.
Kyle Christensen and Khoa Nguyen had six kills apiece for Spring Valley.
Bonanza 3, Clark 0 — At Bonanza, Mike Hartmann had five aces and dished 30 assists to lead the Bengals to a 25-13, 25-11, 25-11 victory over Clark.
Andrew Whiting added nine kills and eight digs and Scott Davis seven kills for Bonanza.
Durango 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Durango, Jake Jacobson had 11 assists to help the Trailblazers to a 25-9, 25-15, 25-5 win over Desert Oasis.
Thor Jalec added eight digs and Mark Brautigum six kills for Durango.
Kalvan Griengo had four aces for the Diamondbacks.
Basic 3, Green Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Jensen Lavalle contributed 10 kills, five blocks and four digs to lead the Wolves to a 26-24, 25-17, 25-12 victory over the Gators.
Austin Hafen added seven kills for Basic.
Tyler Owens had seven kills, and Taylor Mitchell had four kills and 17 assists to lead Green Valley.
Liberty 3, Del Sol 1— At Del Sol, Brendon Reano had 10 kills and five blocks, and Jeremie Vang supplied 18 assists as the Patriots beat the Dragons 25-21, 25-21, 21-25, 25-17.
Daniel Belanger had 39 assists and Tanner Henrie 11 kills for Del Sol.
