Roundup: Trevor Robbins leads Basic past Silverado

Trevor Robbins had 20 kills to Monday to lead the Basic boys volleyball team to a 27-25, 25-22, 21-25, 27-25 victory over host Silverado.

Skylar Freitas had 14 digs and five blocks for the Wolves, and teammate Taulima DeVoux had 15 assists.

Bravyn Aquino had 32 assists and two aces to lead the Skyhawks. Tyler Olson had 14 kills, and Sean Borla had 18 digs for Sivlerado.

Sky Pointe 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Sky Pointe, Jaegen Driscoll has 24 kills and 16 digs as the Eagles defeated the Desert Shields, 25-21, 25-27, 26-24, 25-21.

Carson Driscoll added 28 assists, and Nestor Quevedo had 15 digs for Sky Pointe.

Brian Orellana led Cheyenne with 41 assists. Anthony Walker added 12 kills, and Ryan Buchanan had 10 kills for the Desert Shields.

Del Sol 3, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Alejandro Marin had 13 kills and 14 digs to lead the Dragons over the Cowboys, 25-16, 25-17, 22-25, 25-22.

Alan Ramos-Flores and Angel Vargas each had 13 assists for the Dragons, and teammate Van Stanley had five kills and four blocks.

James Malcolm added six kills for Del Sol.

Juan Benitez led Chaparral with 16 kills. Robert McGregor added three kills and 20 assists, and Kalob Abramson had seven kills for the Cowboys.

Las Vegas 3, Rancho 0 — At Las Vegas High, Shaun Kampshoff had 12 kills and 13 assists as the Wildcats swept the Rams, 25-23, 25-18, 25-16.

Kevin Sweitzer had 17 assists, Joe Mercado had 17 digs, and Leander Gates added 13 digs and eight kills for Las Vegas.

Brennan Berti had 12 kills and three blocks to lead Rancho. Jesus Gonzalez had 17 assists and four digs, and Omar Abushanab had four kills and four digs for the Rams.

Coronado 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Matt Wilson had 22 assists as the Cougars swept the Vikings, 27-25, 25-15, 25-9.

Coronado’s Payton Burks had 11 kills, four digs, and three aces, and teammate Alex Winiarczyk had 10 kills and six digs.

Valley’s Trey Harp had 13 digs, and Isaac Frazier had four kills and three digs for the Vikings.

Green Valley 3, Eldorado 0 — At Green Valley, Grayson Boyce had 11 kills as the Gators swept the Sundevils, 25-14, 25-18, 25-12.

Green Valley’s Bryce Avecilla added three aces.

Christopher Garcia had 12 assists and two digs, Adrian Evans had nine kills and three aces, and Anthony Tolentino had five digs and two aces for Eldorado.

Tech 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Tech, Pierce Zaman had eight kills as the Roadrunners swept the Jaguars, 25-21, 25-18, 25-17.

Tech’s Ossian Makin also had eight assists, and Jericho Inciong had seven assists for the Roadrunners.

Mojave 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Mojave, T.J. Blanchard-Davis had seven kills, seven aces and seven digs to help the Rattlers to a 25-13, 25-15, 25-13 win over the Miners.

Christian Espinoza added eight kills and 11 digs, and Michael Jones had five aces and 16 digs for Mojave.

Nathaniel Arredondo dished out 27 assists for the Rattlers.

Boulder City 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Boulder City, Preston Jorgensen had 17 kills and two blocks as the Eagles swept the Pioneers, 25-22, 25-18, 25-18.

Boen Huxforfd had 13 assists, four kills, and two blocks for the Eagles, and Karson Bailey had eight kills and three blocks.

Foothill 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, the Falcons beat the Patriots, 25-15, 25-20, 25-20.
