ROUNDUP: Udall, Sillitoe help Basic rally past Dragons

Stephen Udall had 36 assists and six blocks, and teammate Jarin Sillitoe supplied 28 digs Monday to help Basic’s boys volleyball team rally for a 23-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-16 win over visiting Del Sol.

Jordan Pils added 22 kills, and Tanner Humphreys contributed 16 digs for the Wolves.

Aaron Rife led Del Sol with 11 kills. Zach Deittrick added 11 digs, and James Johnson had nine kills for the Dragons.

Coronado 3, Silverado 1 — At Coronado, Bryan Arana had 17 kills and 13 digs, and Chris Andrulis added 13 kills and 11 digs as the Cougars rallied for a 23-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-15 win over the Skyhawks.

Hunter Chaney had 47 assists and 12 digs, and Bryan Glenn added 11 kills for Coronado.

Casey Hadland led Silverado with 43 assists, nine digs and five blocks, and teammate Jordan Royal added 14 kills.

Green Valley 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, NIck Herrin had 20 assists, and Spencer Campbell and Beau Gronert each had six kills to lead the Gators past the Roadrunners, 25-9, 25-13, 25-23.

Dalton Webb had seven kills, and Eddie Lopez added 15 assists for Tech. 

Foothill 3, Liberty 1 — At Foothill, Britain Rosenberg supplied 22 assists and four blocks as the Falcons defeated Liberty, 14-25, 25-22, 25-22, 26-24.

F.J. Funtila tallied 10 kills for Foothill.

James Paras spiked 11 kills, and Brendan Reano contributed 11 kills and three blocks for Liberty.

Arbor View 3, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Arbor View, Taylor Jones dished out 38 assists to help the Aggies to a 24-26, 25-20, 25-17, 25-9 win over the Spartans.

Kirby Mengert had 14 kills, and Anthony Trepagnier and Jesse Morgan each contributed seven kills for the Aggies. Morgan also had nine digs.

Braydon Egbert led Cimarron with 16 digs. Brian Grupe had seven kills and nine digs, and Chad Colwell supplied six kills and three assists for the Spartans.

Centennial 3, Palo Verde 0 — At Centennial, Matt Kurtz had 11 kills and four aces, and Mike Robinson added 10 kills and four aces to lead the Bulldogs to a 25-12, 25-11, 25-22 sweep of the Panthers.

Leo Durkin added 30 assists, and teammate Cameron Olsen had 17 digs for Centennial.

Sean Wilson had 19 assists and four blocks, and Andrew Topham had eight kills and seven digs for Palo Verde.

Shadow Ridge 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Quinn Skowson and Joe Pearson each posted eight kills in the Mustangs’ 25-15, 25-20, 25-9 rout of the Rattlers.

Pearson also had four blocks for Shadow Ridge.

James Noles had 17 assists for Mojave. Demarge Boyd added 10 kills and three blocks, and Greg Guese had seven digs for the Rattlers.
