Roundup: Valley takes out Eldorado

Mel Dinogan had 18 assists and five aces, and Isaac Frazier supplied 13 kills and three aces as Valley’s boys volleyball team claimed a 25-15, 25-19, 24-26, 25-21 road win over Eldorado on Wednesday.

Gary Thomas added four blocks and three kills for Valley.

Adrian Evans recorded 16 kills, 10 digs and three aces and Christopher Garcia notched 34 assists and three digs for Eldorado.

Dahlton Stack added six digs, four kills and two aces and Joseph Peralta had four kills and two digs for Eldorado.

Sky Pointe 3, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Jaegen Driscoll supplied 28 kills and five blocks in the Eagles’ 20-25, 25-15, 25-16, 25-22 win over the Cowboys.

Carson Driscoll dished out 41 assists, and Jaden MacFarlane added seven kills for Sky Pointe.

Robert McGregor had 15 assists, Chris Chavarria talled 11 kills, and Angle Porras supplied nine kills to lead Chaparral.

Tech 3, Western 1 — At Tech, Jericho Inciong passed out 26 assists and Pierce Zaman tallied 13 kills and four digs as the Roadrunners upended the Warriors 23-25, 25-14, 25-9, 25-17.

James Pool supplied nine kills and four aces for Tech.

Bernardo Pascual-Jimenez notched 26 assists and Kizhonie Blunt had five kills for the Warriors.

Las Vegas 3, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Leander Gates tallied 23 digs and 10 kills to help lift the Wildcats to a 24-26, 25-10, 25-18, 25-15 win over the Pioneers.

Kevin Sweitzer had 22 assists, and Rodolfo Boteo-Juarez added nine kills for Las Vegas.

Sirron White led Canyon Springs with 12 kills.

Coronado 3, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Cody Sciabica notched 12 kills and nine digs to help the Cougars defeat the Rams, 25-20, 25-15, 25-19.

Alex White supplied 24 assists and five digs, and Alex Winiarczyk added 10 digs and eight kills for Coronado.

Jesus Gonzalez led Rancho with 12 assists.

Silverado 3, Green Valley 0 — At Silverado, Jon Francis tallied 10 kills and eight digs, and Tyler Olson added 11 kills and four blocks as the Skyhawks swept the Gators 25-17, 26-24, 25-20.

Dillon Marshall supplied nine digs and five blocks for Silverado.

Zachay Fedarko led Green Valley with 18 assists and six kills, and teammate Tanner Webb had seven kills and five blocks.

Cheyenne 3, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Denzell Brown put down 12 kills to power the Desert Shields to a 20-25, 25-19, 25-10, 25-18 victory over the Jaguars.

Alberto Gramajo had nine kills, and Ethan Cruz added seven aces for Cheyenne.

Jose Villa supplied 22 assists, and Clarence Harvey tallied six blocks to lead Desert Pines.

Foothill 3, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, the Falcons coasted to a 25-14, 25-13. 25-11 win over the Eagles.

Trent Milne had five kills and Brock Weaver had seven kills for Foothill.
