ROUNDUP: Zarvian fuels Diamondbacks’ rally past Gaels

Trevor Zarvian had 42 assists and 14 digs Friday as Desert Oasis’ boys volleyball team rallied for a 23-25, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23, 16-14 win at Bishop Gorman.

Danny Eslinger added 14 digs, and Chantz Butler supplied 10 kills for the Diamondbacks.

Cameron Tom had 54 assists, and Bobby Houser put down 35 kills for the Gaels, who got 12 kills from Matt Lychock.

Spring Valley 3, Durango 0 — At Durango, Dallas Teshima dished out 52 assists, and Blake Ringer tallied 21 kills as the Grizzlies swept the Trailblazers, 25-12, 25-13, 25-18.

Caleb Snook had 12 assists for Durango, and Sam Ditterline supplied five kills. Josh Maury provided four kills for the Trailblazers.

Bonanza 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Price Jarman had 16 kills and two blocks to help the Bengals cruise to a 25-14, 25-16, 25-14 victory over the Mountain Lions.

Jared Hyer added eight kills and two blocks, and Craig Whiting notched 37 assists for Bonanza.

Cameron Carlson led Sierra Vista with five kills and four digs.

Clark 3, Western 0 — At Western, Johnny Phane had nine kills to help the Chargers defeat the Warriors, 25-14, 25-17, 25-23.

George Huang added seven kills for Clark, and teammate David Samson had 20 assists.

Nash McIntosh had 16 assists and two aces to lead Western, which got 13 kills and five blocks from Matthew Lewis.

Rancho 3, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Kyle Stankosky had 12 kills and 10 digs, and Nathan Campo added 26 assists to lead the Rams to a 22-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-16 victory over the Jaguars.

Ciaran Subira had seven blocks and four kills, and R’Mond Hill added 11 kils for Rancho.

Tony Savea had 18 assists, three blocks and eight kills for Desert Pines. Josh Hendricks and C.J. Fletcher each added 14 digs for the Jaguars.

Chaparral 3, Eldorado 1 — At Chaparral, Nathan Kirschbaum had 10 kills and three blocks to help the Cowboys beat the Sundevils, 25-19, 25-23, 26-28, 25-22.

Saiquon Charingto added four kills for Chaparral.

Valley 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Valley, Lawrence Palma had 14 kills, and Ignacio Diaz supplied 11 kills as the Vikings blanked the Miners, 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.

Peter Nunes had 38 assists, and Mauricio Molina added 27 digs for Valley.

Las Vegas 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Luke Hansen had 21 assists and four kills, and teammate Garrett Jones added 10 digs and four kills as the Wildcats swept the Pioneers, 25-13, 25-13, 25-14.

Jimichael Baker and Tyler Crawford each contributed eight kills for Las Vegas.

Jon Duhaylungsod hadt 15 assists for Canyon Springs, which got seven kills and four aces from Adam Tuala and six kills from Alkeley Harris.
