VOLLEYBALL: Durkin, Bulldogs outlast Aggies in five

Tanner Durkin had 15 kills, and Grant Nelson added 39 assists and seven aces Thursday to lead host Centennial’s boys volleyball team to a 25-17, 19-25, 25-16, 22-25, 15-11 win over Arbor View.

Nyjaee Washington had 11 kills, and Cody Graham added 20 digs for the Bulldogs.

Kaneen Manuel had 19 kills, and Ben Martin dished out 36 assists for the Aggies, who got 13 blocks from Treven Clizbe.

Tech 3, Silverado 1 — At Tech, Josh Wood supplied 30 assists, 13 kills and 13 digs to power the Roadrunners to a 21-25, 25-13, 25-15, 25-22 win over the Skyhawks.

Bryant Pochop had 14 kills and nine digs, and Brandon Larson added nine blocks and five kills for Tech.

Cody Steckel had 23 assists and 13 digs, and Tyler Gralapp contributed 10 kills and six digs for Silverado, which got 11 digs and nine kills from Taz Goon.

Durango 3, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Michael Diggins had 10 kills, and Nestor Eselu-Rumusod had 11 digs to lead the Trailblazers to a 25-15, 21-25, 25-23, 25-21 win over the Mountain Lions.

Jodran Kirley paced Sierra Vista with seven kills and three aces.

Foothill 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Shilo Chow dished out 28 assists to guide the Falcons to a 25-18, 25-20, 25-16 sweep of the Wolves.

Colin Curi put down 11 kills, and Zachary Thompson had eight kills for Foothill, which got 10 digs from Zachary Sangster.

Wyatt Williams had 19 assists, and Brad McDonald had 10 kills for Basic, which got 17 digs from Bo Peterson.

Coronado 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Jon Meath had 10 kills, six aces and eight digs to lead the Cougars past the Sundevils, 25-13, 26-24, 25-22.

Matt Johnson had six kills and four blocks, and Karriem Beyah had seven kills for Coronado, which got 16 assists from Justice Balanay-Flores.

Dakota Shults had 18 kills and six aces, and Dylon Richardson had 23 assists for Eldorado, which got six digs from Gabriel Saldena.

Bonanza 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Bonanza, Andrew Jensen had 11 kills and four aces to help the Bengals to a 25-13, 25-17, 25-14 sweep of the Jaguars.

Luis Raygoza dished out 22 assists, and Robby Adair had four kills and eight digs for Bonanza.

Rancho 3, Green Valley 0 — At Rancho, Lamont Traylor had 13 kills and two blocks to lead the Rams past the Gators, 25-16, 25- 20, 25-19.

Ryan Hafen had 10 kills, and Douglas Candido had 25 assists for Rancho.

James Reed had five kills, and Tyler Dancel added six digs for Green Valley.

Legacy 3, Las Vegas 0 — At Legacy, Zaire Franklin had 12 kills, seven digs and three blocks to lead the Longhorns to a 25-20, 25-23, 29-27 win over the Wildcats.

Jonathan Shawkey added four kills and eight blocks, and Anthony Delgado had 30 assists and eight digs for Legacy.

Ryan Magante had 12 kills and six digs, and Antonio Wong had 16 digs for Las Vegas, which got eight kills and six digs from Alli Stewart.

Del Sol 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Blane Quitog had nine kills and three aces to lead the Dragons past the Pioneers, 25-12, 25-23, 25-17.

La’akea Cabanas had six kills and five aces for Del Sol.

Michael Winston notched six kills, and Maurice Hunter had five kills for Canyon Springs, which got eight assists from Bryan Castro.

Shadow Ridge 3, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, A.J. Makaiwi had 21 digs to propel the Mustangs to a 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 sweep of the Cowboys.

Christopher McInness had 18 assists, and Brendan Harville added eight kills for Shadow Ridge, which got seven kills from Cutler Leavitt.

Jose Chavez supplied five kills and four digs, and Ben Kirschbaum supplied seven kills for Chaparral, which got 11 digs from Ezequiel Borrero.

Desert Oasis 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Billy Cameron had 10 kills to lead the Diamondbacks past the Spartans, 25-17, 25-16, 25-18.

Nainoa Gardner had eight kills, and Saunoa Afoa had seven kills and 20 assists for Desert Oasis, which got 11 assists from Josh Sadama.

Joe Tito had five kills, and Will Baird had 11 assists and 12 digs for Cimarron.

Liberty 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Liberty, Hugo Hernandez supplied 18 assists and six aces to lead the Patriots to a 25-4, 25-19, 25-21 sweep of the Miners.

Ryan Taggert had six kills, and Ian Tia notched five kills for Liberty.

Theodore Williams had four kills for Sunrise Mountain.
