VOLLEYBALL: Falcons down Sundevils in five sets

Colin Curi had 13 kills and 13 digs, and Shilo Chow tallied 38 assists, five digs and two aces Wednesday as Foothill’s boys volleyball team outlasted visiting Eldorado, 20-25, 25-13, 25-15, 21-25, 15-9.

Jonny Rolle added seven kills and eight blocks for Foothill.

Dylon Richardson passed out 20 assists, and Dakota Shults notched 17 kills for Eldorado, which also got eight blocks from Charles Sweet.

Green Valley 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Chase Larson supplied 12 kills, and Zachary Hewitt added 29 assists and three kills as the Gators downed the Wolves, 25-11, 25-16, 25-17.

James Reed compiled nine kills, eight digs and four aces for Green Valley.

Mathew Esplin had five kills, and Jeremy Shafer notched five blocks for Basic.

Coronado 3, Rancho 0 — At Coronado, Samuel Cox had 31 assists, four aces and two blocks in the Cougars’ 25-18, 25-20, 25-22 victory over the Rams.

Matt Johnson had nine kills, and Karriem Beyah added eight kills, seven digs and two blocks for Coronado.

Lamont Traylor led Rancho with 10 kills, and teammate Douglas Candido dished out 18 assists.

Legacy 3, Arbor View 1 — At Legacy, Zaire Franklin had 14 kills and 14 digs, and Anthony Delgado tallied three kills, 40 assists and eight digs as the Longhorns defeated the Aggies, 25-23, 27-29, 25-16, 25-22.

Anthony Madden added eight kills and 15 digs for Legacy, and teammate Jonathan Shawkey had six kills and seven digs.

Treven Clizbe led Arbor View with 12 kills, three aces and three blocks. Ben Martin had 34 assists, six digs and two blocks, and Michael Prescia had 15 digs for the Aggies.

Centennial 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Centennial, Grant Nelson dished out 35 assists, and Tanner Polley recorded 13 kills as the Bulldogs swept past the Diamondbacks, 25-16, 25-19, 25-20.

Terrell Hicks added seven kills for Centennial.

Ailey Asulin tallied 14 assists, Bryson Sadama had nine digs, and Billy Cameron supplied seven kills and two blocks for Desert Oasis.

Bonanza 3, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Cimarron, Luis Raygoza tallied 44 assists, and Andrew Jensen had 12 kills as the Bengals downed the Spartans, 25-15, 25-12, 24-26, 25-9.

Bronson Duckworth added 10 kills, and Tyler Simmons had seven digs for Bonanza.

Dashawn Creswell recorded eight kills and eight digs, and Will Baird notched 18 assists, three aces and two kills for Cimarron. Robert Gilliam added four kills, four digs and two aces for Cimarron.

Mojave 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Mojave, Jason Zambrano dished out 31 assists, and Jordan Glenn notched 11 kills and four blocks to lead the Rattlers to a 25-12, 25-10, 25-10 sweep of the Desert Shields.

Clayton Fontano had eight kills and six blocks, and Anthony Reed supplied 13 digs for Mojave.

Lanson Keomaka had 11 assists, and Ulises Santillan added five kills to lead Cheyenne.

Clark 3, Western 0 — At Western, Walter Regalado tallied 22 assists and two aces, and Henok Mucheye had 10 kills to help the Chargers sweep the Warriors, 25-17, 25-13, 25-8.

Daniel Pedroza added eight digs for Clark.

Gerardo Cardenas had two kills, five digs and two aces, and Dillon Reeves notched two kills for Western.

Sierra Vista 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Brendan Cowden had 24 assists, and Matt Marick added 13 digs to help the Mountain Lions to a 25-23, 25-19, 25-14 sweep of the Grizzlies.

Kevin Samuel recorded three aces and three digs for Sierra Vista.

Troy Lance led Spring Valley with three kills, three aces, three digs and three blocks. Stevan Paukovic had four kills and two aces for the Grizzlies, and teammate Theodore Pele added four blocks.
