VOLLEYBALL: Palo Verde rallies to top Shadow Ridge

Scott Solan had 17 kills and five blocks, and Taylor Miller added 11 kills to help Palo Verde’s boys volleyball team rally for a 26-28, 25-27, 25-22, 25-11, 15-12 home win over Shadow Ridge on Tuesday.
Haden Van Orden had 45 assists and nine digs, and Jacob Scheer added 26 digs for the Panthers.
Cody Heathcock had 16 kills and 12 digs, and Cutler Leavitt supplied 10 kills, 12 digs and three blocks for the Mustangs. C.J. McGinnis had 44 assists, 13 digs and six blocks for Shadow Ridge.
Clark 3, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Alan Cruz had 10 digs, eight kills and five aces to guide the Chargers to a 25-14, 25-13, 23-25, 25-22 win over the Grizzlies.
Sang Hyup Shin notched eight kills, eight digs and five aces, and teammate Antonio Martinez had 25 assists and 21 digs for Clark.
Troy Lance supplied seven assists and four kills to pace Spring Valley.
Las Vegas 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Luis Wong had 15 assists, and Kyle Monton recorded seven assists, five digs and four aces as the Wildcats swept the Patriots, 26-24, 25-19, 25-14.
Brandon Kampshoff added 10 kills for Las Vegas.
Kenyon Oblad led Liberty with 21 digs and six kills. Malvin Velasco added 25 digs, and teammate Jyson DeBina had 11 blocks and six kills for the Patriots.
Bishop Gorman 3, Legacy 0 — At Gorman, Will Hafen had 16 kills and 10 digs as the Gaels swept the Longhorns, 25-10, 25-16, 25-16.
Charles Pollnow added nine kills and six digs, and Trevor Papcock had 33 assists and four digs for Gorman.
Anthony Guevara and Omari Wheeler each had six digs and five kills for Legacy.
Valley 3, Silverado 0 — At Valley, Justin Sandoval had 31 assists, and Jared Marchello had 17 kills to help the Vikings to a 26-24, 25-17, 25-16 sweep over the Skyhawks.
Marty Heavey added 14 kills for Valley, and Austin Smith supplied 11 digs for the Vikings.
Devin Ross led Silverado with 10 kills. Taz Goon had nine kills, and Cody Steckel had 20 assists for the Skyhawks, who got 15 digs from Michael Gonzalez.
Mojave 3, Western 0 — At Mojave, Alex Carvalho had seven kills and seven digs, and Juan Valdez added 17 assists to help the Rattlers sweep the Warriors, 25-14, 25-13, 25-15.
Absalon Williams added nine kills, and teammate Antonyo Wright had six kills for Mojave.
Gerardo Cardenas notched seven digs and four assists for Western. Christian Macias had nine digs and two aces for the Warriors.
Sierra Vista 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Mountain Lions topped the Desert Shields, 25-21, 25-18, 25-12.
