VOLLEYBALL: Troy Bell leads visiting Foothill past Basic in five sets

Troy Bell finished with 45 digs to lead Foothill’s boys volleyball team to a 25-21, 19-25, 25-20, 21-25, 17-15 road win over Basic on Thursday.

Caleb Stearman dished out 38 assists, and Dylan Litviak had 12 kills for the Falcons.

Jacob Fulton led Basic with 12 kills, 11 blocks and three digs. Bryson Callister had 17 kills, two aces, seven digs and one block, and Matt Gajeski notched four kills, 44 assists and three blocks for the Wolves.

Bishop Gorman 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Charles Pollnow had 17 kills, one ace, 14 digs and two blocks to lead the Gaels to a 25-23, 25-21, 25-22 sweep of the Diamondbacks.

Will Hafen had 16 kills and 12 digs, Luke Bradford added 37 assists and seven digs, and Anthony Leach had 12 digs for Gorman.

RaShawn Dean had nine kills to lead Desert Oasis. David Toole added five kills, eight digs and two blocks, Liam Morrissey had three kills and three blocks, and Bryson Sadama had 23 digs for the Diamondbacks.

Shadow Ridge 3, Legacy 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Derek Robnett had 16 kills and 11 digs to lead the Mustangs to a 25-14, 25-15, 25-13 win over the Longhorns.

Ashton Leavitt added four kills, five aces and five digs, and Andrew Wyatt had 15 assists, one ace and three digs for Shadow Ridge.

Davick Clark had seven kills and two digs, and Creed Laws had four kills and one dig for Legacy.

Arbor View 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Carson Driscoll had 35 assists and six digs to lead the Aggies to a 25-22, 25-22, 25-22 sweep of the Spartans.

Treven Clizbe put down 16 kills, Brenden Wagner had 11 kills, and Jake Reid added six kills for Arbor View.

Erick Forbush led Cimarron with 11 kills and 11 digs. Edher Aldaco had 36 assists, Jameson Valencia supplied 14 kills, and Eric Lytle notched 10 digs for the Spartans.

Green Valley 3, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, James Reed had 17 kills and six aces to lead the Gators past the Skyhawks, 25-18, 25-17, 25-20.

Michael Soha added three kills for the Gators.

Jaden Keomaka had eight kills and nine digs to lead Silverado. Sean Borla added six kills and six digs, and Cody Steckel dished out 20 assists with three kills and six digs for the Skyhawks.

Coronado 3, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, Nik Purser had 13 kills and 11 digs, and Ryan Garlick added 11 kills, five aces and eight digs in the Cougars’ 25-17, 25-12, 25-13 win over the Patriots.

Matt Wilson notched 45 assists, two aces and five digs, and Tim Kelleher had eight digs for Coronado.
