Outlook: Roston’s first season as the Skyhawks’ coach was a successful one, with the team finishing only behind perennial power Green Valley in the Northeast League.

Silverado is hoping for more success this season.

“We’re working hard and playing hard, as if every practice and every game is our last,” Roston said. “We are a strong group of girls, who are anxious and eager to work and fight for every point.

“We look forward to challenges and obstacles that will make us stronger and the last one standing.”
