Outlook: The defending Division I state champions may be the team to beat again this year.

Five starters, including four All-Southern Nevada honorees (Oblad, Thompson, Jackson and Andrulis), are back.

“We are excited to pick up where we left off last season and look forward to defending our titles,” Johnson said. “We have a great mix of experienced returnees and talented newcomers.

“Many of the players have gotten stronger and improved their all-around games in the offseason.”
