DIVISION IV: Van Poucke, Muckers set date with Panthers

Deanna Van Poucke racked up nine kills, 15 digs and two blocks Friday to lead Tonopah to a 27-25, 25-13, 25-15 sweep of Indian Springs (15-9) in a Division IV Southern League volleyball semifinal at Sunrise Mountain.
Alli Friel added 10 assists, eight kills and six digs, and Sydney Maughan had 14 digs, three kills and three aces for the Muckers (22-5), who will meet Pahranagat Valley (17-6) for the title at noon Saturday.
Julia Klapper supplied 12 digs and three aces, and Ashley Gray had five blocks for Tonopah, which got four blocks and two kills from Sarah Greber.
By advancing to the final, both Tonopah and Pahranagat Valley earned a berth in next week’s state tournament.
Pahranagat Valley 3, Lund 0 — The Panthers moved into the final with a 25-16, 25-9, 25-16 win over the Mustangs (11-8).
