DIVISION IV VOLLEYBALL: Pahranagat Valley’s Hansen, Higbee share MVP award
Pahranagat Valley’s girls volleyball team won its fifth consecutive league title this fall, and Jamie Hansen and Brooke Higbee were a big part of team’s dominance.
Higbee and Hansen were rewarded by the league coaches, as they were named the Division IV Southern League’s co-Most Valuable Players.
The Panthers, who won their second straight state title, placed two other players on the all-league first team.
Pahranagat Valley’s Karley Whipple and Alyse Frehner were named to that team along with Sandy Valley’s Jacinda Fansher and Madeline Wadley, Indian Springs’ Hannah Thormahlen and Beaver Dam’s Fabiola Fragoza.
