GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Green Valley upsets visiting Silverado in five sets

Green Valley’s Rachel Klopfer had 20 kills, nine digs and four blocks, and Anya Olsen added 16 kills as the Gators upset visiting Silverado, 10-25, 25-14, 31-33, 25-19, 15-9 on Wednesday.

Abigail Olsen had 41 assists, six aces, seven digs and five blocks, and Emily Flowers notched 13 digs for Green Valley (24-7, 8-2 Southeast League). Jordan Burns had six blocks for the Gators.

Sydney Berenyi led Silverado (27-7, 9-1) with 24 kills and 14 digs. Kaylynn Smith had 19 digs, and Maggie Pupkiewicz had 12 digs for the Skyhawks.

Durango 3, Sierra Vista 1 — At Durango, Hailey Kraft had 19 kills, four aces and 21 digs to lead the Trailblazers to a 25-15, 17-25, 25-16, 25-9 win over the Mountain Lions.

Makenzi Abelman added 27 assists, two aces and nine digs, and Kaci Kedrowski had six kills and 13 digs for Durango, which got five kills and nine digs from Angelise Lopez.

Faith Gray-Williams led Sierra Vista with 26 assists and 15 digs. Aria Holmes had six kills, and teammate Lexy Nassiri notched 14 digs for the Mountain Lions.

Foothill 3, Basic 0 — At Foothill, Madison Hill had eight kills, five aces and 10 digs, and Aysia Mabry added nine kills and seven digs to lead the Falcons to a 26-24, 25-16, 25-11 win over the Wolves.

Kiley McCall had 28 assists, six digs and four blocks for Foothill.

Kiara Richardson had 10 kills and nine digs for Basic, and teammate Azure Werner had seven kills and 20 digs.

Desert Oasis 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Desert Oasis, Kaaleya Price had eight kills and six digs to lead the Diamondbacks to a 25-18, 25-18, 25-19 win over the Grizzlies.

Kira Beckerle added six kills and 12 digs, and teammate Kaia Rhodes added five kills and eight blocks for Desert Oasis.

Cashmere Buford led Spring Valley with 18 digs, and teammate Alleanna Thomson had 14 digs. Alexandra Lagunas had six kills for the Grizzlies.

Bishop Gorman 3, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Tommi Stockham had 12 kills, and Abbey Archambault added nine digs, three kills and two blocks to lead the Gaels to a 25-12, 25-17, 25-18 win over the Bengals.

Alysia Nelson had 15 digs, and Lilly Hoff notched 14 assists for Gorman, which got 11 assists and three aces from Sydney Lobato.

Taryn Warner led Bonanza with 10 kills and four blocks, and teammate Brianna Hernandez-Silva added nine digs.

Coronado 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Dallas Balanay-Flores dished out 33 assists, and Madison Karcich added 18 kills and seven digs as the Cougars swept the Patriots, 25-16, 25-13, 25-15.

Megan Wang had 11 digs and seven aces, and teammate Zoe Lier tallied seven kills, two aces and two blocks for Coronado.

Erika Martinez had 16 digs, and Tehani Tapuala supplied 19 assists and three digs for Liberty, which got 12 digs and five kills from Ashleigh Rodriguez.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Valley 0 — At Cimarron, Logan DeLong had 14 assists and seven kills, and Alyssa Karpinski added six kills, six digs and four aces as the Spartans swept the Vikings, 25-10, 25-15, 25-15.

Ariana Munoz had six aces for Cimarron.

Valley’s Jessica Perez had 13 digs and two aces, and Kyla King added four digs and two kills for the Vikings.

Moapa Valley 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Eden Whitmore had 16 kills to lead the Pirates by the Roadrunners, 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.

Aria Messer added seven kills and 23 assists, and JaLea Blasingame had seven kills for Moapa Valley.

Victoria Keane led Tech with four kills and 10 digs.

Boulder City 3, Chaparral 0 — At Boulder City, Maggie Roe had 11 kills, two aces and two blocks, and Kenadee Bailey added nine kills and three aces to lift the Eagles to a 25-14, 25-14, 25-19 win over the Cowboys.

Alea Lehr had 32 assists and nine aces, and Ashleigh Wood notched 10 aces and 10 digs for Boulder City.

Virgin Valley 3, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Bernice Fiso had 14 kills and six digs to lead the Bulldogs to a 25-20, 25-12, 25-14 win over the Dragons.

Emma Barnum added seven kills, four aces and six digs, and Calee Clem added 23 assists for Virgin Valley.

Agassi Prep 2-2, Adelson School 0-0 — At Adelson School, the Stars swept a doubleheader from the Lions, 25-4, 27-25 and 25-15, 25-14.

Denise Parker had 15 assists in the first match and 15 assists and three kills in the second match. Darayon Moore had 12 digs in the first match and 18 digs in the nightcap for Agassi Prep.

Ayanna McClendon had a total of 22 kills for the Stars.
