LAKE MEAD FALL CLASSIC: Pahranagat Valley beats Lions in title match

Pahranagat Valley's girls volleyball team rallied for a 28-30, 25-15, 15-9 win over Calvary Chapel on Saturday in the championship match of the Lake Mead Fall Classic.

Olivia Kaiser had eight kills and 20 digs, and Mariah Martin added 16 assists and nine digs for Calvary Chapel. Sara Hernandez had 17 digs, and Lexi Davis added 16 digs for the Lions.

Calvary Chapel 2, Lake Mead 0 — Martin had 14 assists and four aces as the Lions downed the Eagles, 25-8, 25-18 in a semifinal.

Kaiser had eight kills, and Davis added two kills and 10 digs for Calvary Chapel.

Pahranagat Valley 2, Liberty Baptist 0 — The Panthers were 25-12, 25-19 winners over the Eagles in the other semifinal.

Lake Mead 2, Liberty Baptist 0 — Lake Mead was a 26-24, 25-19 winner over Liberty Baptist in the third-place match.

Somerset Academy 2, Word of Life 0 — Somerset won the Silver Bracket by beating Word of Life, 25-21, 30-28.

Somerset Academy 2, Lake Mead JV 0 — Somerset was a 25-22, 25-18 winner over Lake Mead's junior varsity.

Word of Life 2, Calvary Chapel 0 — The Eagles were 25-9, 25-20 winners over the Lions' junior varsity.
