ROUNDUP: Agae, Silverado girls top Wildcats

Kayla Agae had 19 kills and 15 digs Thursday to lead Silverado’s girls volleyball team to a 24-26, 25-17, 25-21, 25-23 victory over visiting Las Vegas.

Morgan Little had 40 assists and 18 digs for the Skyhawks, and teammate Amari Norris had six kills and five blocks.

Marissa Lair led Las Vegas with 18 kills and 25 digs. Shaleea Butler added eight kills and four digs for the Wildcats, who got 33 assists from Matti Ventling and 15 digs from Anjelica Ashworth.

Pahrump Valley 3, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Bryanna Soliwoda had 16 assists to help the Trojans outlast the Desert Shields, 25-13, 15-25, 25-18, 19-25, 15-10.

Payton Hart chipped in with 11 kills for Pahrump, and Shayla Dance had six blocks for the Trojans.

Jenna Mecham had 10 kills and two blocks for Cheyenne, and teammate Jasmine Spurlock added nine assists.

Shadow Ridge 3, Spring Valley 1 —
At Spring Valley, Olivia Denny had 33 assists to help the Mustangs defeat the Grizzlies, 25-17, 23-25, 25-16, 25-22.

Ashley Pierce had 13 digs and 10 kills and Arianna Smith had 11 kills for the Mustangs.

Jessica Rafay has 10 assists, 10 blocks, nine digs and eight kills to lead Spring Valley. Rachel Milam had 15 digs and 10 kills, and Casey Vanhoos had eight digs and five blocks for the Grizzlies.

Green Valley 3, Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Jenna Swaffer had 15 kills as the Gators defeated the Vikings, 25-10, 25-10, 25-14.

Nikki Drost added 11 kills and seven aces, and Alley Seidler had 11 assists for Green Valley, which got eight kills apiece from Carly Schiess and Bridgette Dwyer.

Olga Torres had eight digs for Valley. Diva Carter and Gabby Cabanero added five and four kills, respectively, for the Vikings.

Palo Verde 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Stephanie Herman had 19 assists, three aces and four digs to lead the Panthers to a 25-11, 25-22, 25-12 win over the Mountain Lions.

McCall Phillips had 10 kills and five digs, and Kendell Cheval had nine kills, five aces, and six digs for Palo Verde.

Bridgette Levi and Bailey Bergquist each had six kills for Sierra Vista.

Western 3, Mojave 0 — At Western, Paea Savou had five assists and three aces to help lead the Warriors past the Rattlers, 25-12, 25-19, 25-18.

Zimra Grantham had eight aces, and Aleya Ford-Wheaton chipped in with five aces for Western.

Ashley Persico had nine digs, and Rebecca Espinoza had seven digs for Mojave.

Rayena Rael and Keyah Hall each had four kills for the Rattlers.

Rancho 3, Canyon Springs 0 —
At Canyon Springs, Monet Wilson had 13 assists, and Kayla Coles added eight kills and three aces in the Rams’ 25-10, 28-26, 25-21 win over the Pioneers.

Danielle Carino had six kills and nine digs for Rancho.

Summer Asturi had 11 digs, and Emily Tuala added seven digs and four kills for Canyon Springs, which got six assists and four aces from Natasha Montano.

Faith Lutheran 3, Clark 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Megan Panikkar had 17 assists and three aces to help the Crusaders sweep the Chargers, 25-11, 25-11, 25-7.

Gianni Perryman added 13 assists, and Taylor Hammer had seven kills for Faith Lutheran, which got five kills from Courtney Hansen.

Arbor View 3, Durango 1 — At Durango, the Aggies posted a 25-21, 25-15, 22-25, 25-21 win over the Trailblazers.

Precious Williams had 10 kills, and Katarina Jaksic added eight kills for Durango.

The Meadows 2-1, Lake Mead 0-2 — At The Meadows, Taylor Vetter had 13 kills and 13 digs in the nightcap to give the Eagles a split with the Mustangs.

Megan Watkins added 16 assists and eight digs for Lake Mead, which won 25-21, 13-25, 15-12.

The Meadows captured the opener 25-21, 25-12.

Vetter had six kills in that match.
