ROUNDUP: Allen leads way as Cowboys knock off Vikings

Jaeda Allen had 19 kills and four blocks Tuesday to lead Chaparral’s girls volleyball team to a 28-26, 28-30, 25-14, 25-18 victory over visiting Valley.
The win put the Cowboys in a three-way tie for second place in the Northeast League with Sunrise Mountain and Valley at 6-3 apiece.
Chaparral’s Rita Mesamola added seven kills and two blocks, and teammate Hannah Kirschbaum supplied three kills and two blocks.
Lenore Porter led Valley with 26 assists, eight kills and five digs, and Jana Aquino added seven kills and 12 digs for the Vikings.
Del Sol 3, Liberty 0 — At Del Sol, Desiree Orozco dished out 25 assists as the Dragons swept the Patriots, 25-17, 25-22, 25-16.
Angela Johnson had 12 kills, and Camille Santana added 10 digs for Del Sol.
Green Valley 3, Basic 0 — At Green Valley, Carly Schiess posted 12 kills and three aces, and Julie Dramise recorded nine kills and three aces as the Gators cruised past the Wolves, 25-13, 25-15, 25-23.
Jenna Swaffer recorded 26 assists, and Alexa Drost had eight digs for the Gators.
Kamisha Richardson led Basic with seven kills. Heather Hawes supplied 10 digs for the Wolves.
Rancho 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Chanel Eliason had 10 digs, and Dayna Yamaguchi dished out six assists to help the Rams roll past the Pioneers, 25-11, 25-16, 25-23.
Morgan Johnson and Breanna White each supplied four kills for Rancho.
Natasha Montano had 10 assists, and Sydney Morris spiked five kills for Canyon Springs.
Coronado 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Kuulei Piena had seven kills, 14 digs and two aces as the Cougars rolled to a 25-18, 25-22, 25-13 sweep of the Falcons.
Lia Herlosky logged 19 assists and six aces for Coronado. Ally Keller had eight kills and three blocks, and Berkeley Oblad added eight kills for the Cougars.
Zoe Wolfenbarger led Foothill with nine kills. Emma Khachikian had 16 digs for the Falcons.
Silverado 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Kayla Agae recorded eight kills, and Ku’uipolani Brown added eight digs in the Skyhawks’ 25-15, 25-11, 25-12 sweep of the Roadrunners.
Meriah Janosik contributed four kills for Silverado.
Evelyn Lopes and Mariela Ramos each had two kills for Tech.
Eldorado 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, Autumn Moore supplied five aces and five kills to lead the Sundevils to a 25-17, 25-21, 25-10 sweep of the Jaguars.
Sarah Kanet had six kills and Alexis Vaquero added five kills for Eldorado.
Cynthia Zack logged 18 digs for Desert Pines, which got seven assists each from Kiana Alexander and Jazzmin Avalos.
Las Vegas 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Desiree Lair recorded 12 digs, seven kills and four aces, and Nina White tallied 19 digs and four aces to help the Wildcats sweep the Miners 25-20, 25-7, 25-11.
Tiffany Jackson had 25 assists, and Carly Cottle added eight kills for Las Vegas.
Tiara Veal had 10 assists, and Samantha Venerable had seven digs for Sunrise Mountain.
Pahranagat Valley 3, Lake Mead 1 — At Alamo, Halie Lewis posted 17 kills and 14 digs as the Panthers rallied past the Eagles, 22-25, 25-7, 25-21, 25-11.
Kyla Mortensen had 17 kills and five aces, and Kimberly Lewis added 16 assists, six aces and two blocks for Pahranagat Valley, which got nine assists and three aces from Kennedy Huntsman.
Tessa McQuillan paced Lake Mead with 11 kills, eight digs and two blocks. Taylor Vetter added four kills, four blocks, seven digs and seven assists, and Collen Zumaran had seven kills and 12 digs for the Eagles, who got 10 assists and six digs from Megan Watkins.
Indian Springs 3, Adelson School 0 — At Indian Springs, Baylee McCormick had 22 assists and eight aces, and Heather Thormahlen posted 33 assists as the Thunderbirds swept the Lions, 25-8, 25-14, 25-10.
Alexxa Reinke had 13 kills, and Victoria Carpenter added 12 kills for Indian Springs.
