ROUNDUP: Avalos, Jaguars rally past Pioneers

Jazzmin Avalos dished out 18 assists, and Michelle Estella supplied 21 digs Tuesday as Desert Pines’ girls volleyball team rallied for a 25-20, 22-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-12 win over visiting Canyon Springs.
Nancy Macias added nine kills, three aces and two blocks for the Jaguars.
Baylee Delgado paced the Pioneers with 19 assists and six aces. Elenai Alalima contributed 12 kills, six aces and three digs, and Brittany Barkum added 12 kills and two blocks for Canyon Springs.
Las Vegas 3, Eldorado 0 — At Las Vegas High, Tiffany Jackson racked up 26 assists and seven digs, and Loren Acluba added 11 digs and 10 aces as the Wildcats breezed past the Sundevils, 25-14, 25-12, 25-16.
Breanna Melton posted seven kills and seven digs, and Marissa Lair contributed seven kills and five digs for Las Vegas.
Valley 3, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Lenore Porter distributed 23 assists, and Jana Aquino put down 12 kills as the Vikings rallied for a 15-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-18 win over the Rams.
Briana Johnson added 10 kills and four aces for Valley.
Sunrise Mountain 3, Chaparral 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Tiara Veal had 22 assists and four aces and Lenny Estrada supplied four kills, three digs and three aces as the Miners downed the Cowboys, 25-22, 25-18, 25-13.
Janae Yurek-Carhee chipped in with four kills and three aces for Sunrise Mountain.
Green Valley 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Emma Johnson totaled 17 kills, and Carly Schiess put down 13 kills in the Gators’ 25-9, 25-17, 25-22 sweep of the Falcons.
Jenna Swaffer dished out 38 assists, and Caitlin Berkley added seven kills for Green Valley.
Courtney Casem had 13 digs for Foothill, which got four kills and four digs from Zoe Wolfenbarger.
Silverado 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Kayla Agae tallied 14 digs, 13 kills and five aces, and Alex Weber supplied 12 digs as the Skyhawks swept the Wolves, 25-16, 25-13, 25-17.
Jackie Foust led Basic with eight blocks and four kills.
Del Sol 3, Tech 0 — At Del Sol, the Dragons defeated the Roadrunners, 25-23, 25-10, 25-22.
Maria Carillo led Tech with 10 digs.
Coronado 3, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, Kuulei Piena had 17 kills and 11 digs to lead the Cougars to a 25-8, 25-15, 25-10 victory over the Patriots.
Katie Gamsky added 33 assists, seven digs and three aces, and Kristen Herlosky and Sara Jones each supplied eight kills for Coronado.
Jannine Romeo led Liberty with 21 digs.
Calvary Chapel 3, Pahranagat Valley 2 — At Alamo, Bri Ridley had 16 kills, 16 digs and two blocks to help the Lions outlast the Panthers, 25-22, 16-25, 13-25, 25-22, 18-16.
Laura Perri had 33 assists, eight digs and two aces for Calvary Chapel, and teammate Brettani Davis added seven kills and 31 digs. Brooke Davis posted 18 digs, and Deja Harris supplied nine kills for the Lions.
Tonopah 3, Mineral County 0 — At Hawthorne, Sam Kimber put down 10 kills, and Britney Klapper added 19 assists and two aces as the Muckers breezed past the Serpents, 25-13, 25-11, 25-9.
Amanda O'Donnell had six kills and three aces, and Deanna VanPoucke added six kills for Tonopah.
Adelson School 3, Mountain View JV 0 — At Adelson Schoool, Elle Steinberg served 11 aces and added three kills, and teammate Morgan Goodelman recorded 10 aces and two kills as the Lions swept Mountain View’s junior varsity squad, 25-20, 25-18, 25-22.
Allie Baracani added eight assists and four kills for the Lions, who got two aces from Sivan Gavish.
