ROUNDUP: Baker helps Liberty down Pioneers

Phoebe Baker had seven kills, 13 digs and six aces Wednesday as Liberty’s girls volleyball team defeated host Canyon Springs, 25-23, 25-15, 25-18.

Holly Vergara added 16 assists for the Patriots.

Tech 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Jenn Ngonkhanbay had eight aces and three kills, and Katie Lucas added nine aces as the Roadrunners beat the Miners, 25-17, 25-10, 25-18.

Destanae Howerton-Davis added four kills for Tech.

Monica Peterson had eight assists and five aces, and Samantha Venerable added three aces for Sunrise Mountain.

Silverado 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, the Skyhawks beat the Sundevils 25-6, 25-16, 25-6.

Candace Watkins led Eldorado with six kills and two digs, and teammate Marissa Mousseau added nine assists.
