ROUNDUP: Basic girls edge Del Sol

Jennica Flores had 14 kills and nine digs Tuesday as Basic’s girls volleyball team outlasted visiting Del Sol, 25-15, 22-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-5.

Mercedes James drove home 12 kills for the Wolves.

Jen Johnston had 13 digs and Natalie Korzenowski 10 kills for Del Sol.

Liberty 3, Foothill 1 — At Foothill, Hollykrist Vergara had 21 assists to lead the Patriots in a 7-25, 27-25, 25-15, 25-16 comeback win over the Falcons.

Phoebe Baker added 12 kills and Amanda Delgado seven kills and five digs for Liberty.

Kelsey McFarland had seven kills and Whitney Welch five kills for Foothill.

Silverado 3, Coronado 0 — At Coronado, Marilyn Agae had 19 assists and nine digs to lead the Skyhawks over the Cougars, 25-14, 25-9, 25-19.

Kaitlin Keathley added five kills, three digs, two blocks and two aces for Silverado. Taylor Richard chipped in 26 digs and 10 kills.

Loreal Derrick had 10 digs for Coronado.

Green Valley 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Siga Appelgate had seven kills to lead the Gators to a 25-5, 25-13, 25-14 win over the Roadrunners.

Jena Chavez had 11 assists and Jenna Swaffer 10 for the Gators.

Alisha Vega led the Roadrunners with four kills and two aces.

Valley 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Valley, Lenore Porter had 18 assists, six digs and two kills, and Maureen Aquino supplied seven kills, seven aces and three digs as the Vikings beat the Pioneers, 25-12, 25-20, 25-6.

Aliza Robinson added four kills, three aces and two blocks for Valley.

Rancho 3, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Rachel Wiltshire and Alex Padilla each tallied 15 assists, and Aisha Momodu had 12 kills as the Rams beat the Cowboys, 15-25, 25-22, 25-18, 25-23.

Teyler Williams added 11 kills for Rancho.

Las Vegas 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Las Vegas, Tiffany Jackson totaled 18 assists and three kills to lead the Wildcats over the Jaguars, 25-8, 25-11, 25-8.

Natresha Bernard had 11 kills and five aces, and Ruth Wittig had 10 digs and four aces for Las Vegas.

Monica Estela had six digs, and Alyssa Turner had five assists for Desert Pines.

Eldorado 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Eldorado, Chelses Sallender had nine aces, five kills and six digs to lead the Sundevils to a 25-7, 25-4, 25-22 win over the Miners.

Chelsea Petersen added eight aces for the Sundevils, Candace Watkins had nine kills, and Marissa Mousseau had 16 assists.

Lake Mead 3, Indian Springs 0 — At Lake Mead, Amanda Wellman served 25 aces and had three kills and two digs as the Eagles pounded the Thunderbirds, 25-4, 25-7, 25-4.

Ashley Newton added eight kills and eight aces for the Eagles. Emma Khachikian had five aces and four digs, and Jocelyn Cox dished out 10 assists.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Lund 0 — At Alamo, Dakota Day had 12 kills to lead the Panthers to a 25-10, 25-18, 25-10 win over the Mustangs.

Haylie Lewis and Kyle Mortensen each added seven kills for Pahranagat Valley.

Laughlin 2, Trinity 1 — At Trinity, the Cougars earned a win over the Thunder, 25-13, 18-25, 15-7.

Boulder City 3, Henderson International 0 — At Henderson International, the Eagles beat the Wolverines, 25-17, 25-10, 25-12.
