ROUNDUP: Cabanas, Dragons outlast Durango

Kaleileihua Cabanas had 14 kills, nine aces and nine digs to help Del Sol’s girls volleyball team outlast host Durango on Monday, 11-25, 25-15, 24-26, 25-22, 24-22.

Azhwalaee Oliver had seven kills and three blocks for Del Sol, and Eugenia Petkova had eight kills and six digs for the Dragons.

Rudie-Armida Soria-Bailey had 16 assists and four aces for the Dragons, and Jerica Barriere added 17 assists and three aces.

Precious Williams led Durango with 12 kills and 14 digs, and teammate Cheyanne Haas had 31 assists and three aces.

Las Vegas 3, Basic 1 —
At Basic, Shaleea Butler logged 11 digs and 10 kills to help the Wildcats beat the Wolves, 25-14, 25-12, 19-25, 25-22.

Matti Ventling (25 assists, five digs), Marissa Lair (11 digs, nine kills) and Anjelica Ashworth (15 digs) also contributed for Las Vegas.

Leah Causey led Basic with 17 kills, eight blocks, seven digs and an ace. Tori Foutz added nine kills and seven digs, and Skye Smith had eight kills and five digs for the Wolves, who got 20 assists and six digs from Cristina Kelley.

Palo Verde 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 —
At Palo Verde, Stephanie Herman recorded 27 assists and four digs to help to Panthers roll past the Spartans, 25-22, 25-20, 25-20.

McCall Phillips had nine kills and seven digs, and Kendal Cheval added six kills, three aces and three digs for Palo Verde, which got 11 digs from Faryn Duncan.

Chalon Henderson paced Cimarron with 10 kills, seven digs and four blocks, and teammate Erica Padilla had 11 assists and five digs. Sarina Creswell supplied five kills, five digs and three aces for the Spartans.

Sierra Vista 3, Legacy 0 — At Sierra Vista, Kiana Taitano served 11 aces to help the Mountain Lions to a 25-18, 29-27, 29-27 sweep of the Longhorns.

Emily Valerio had 15 assists, five digs and three aces for Legacy. Bianca Boyt had five kills, and Ashley Smoot had four kills and two blocks for the Longhorns.

Moapa Valley 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Bailey Owens had nine kills to help the Pirates roll past the Miners, 25-22, 25-13, 25-19.

Shelbie Gray helped Moapa Valley with five kills and three blocks, and teammate Summer Owens added four kills.

Janae Yurek-Carhee led Sunrise Mountain with seven kills. Imani Kroon had 13 assists, and Tania Amaya added four aces and three kills for the Miners.

Spring Valley 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Spring Valley, Rachel Milam had seven kills, and Nicole Rafay added five kills to lead the Grizzlies to a 25-9, 25-19, 25-21 sweep of the Desert Shields.

Hannah Karas had 13 digs for Spring Valley.

Clark 3, Valley 0 — At Clark, Emi Afanoa registered eight kills, four aces and two blocks, and Claire Law supplied 20 assists and five aces to help the Chargers to a 25-9, 25-14, 25-15 sweep of the Vikings.

Schae Mores added 15 digs, five aces and four kills for Clark.

Taylor Sandhu had seven assists and two digs for Valley. Corrine Burton had three kills and five digs, and Diva Carter added three kills and seven digs for the Vikings.

Boulder City 3, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, Avalon Frantz had 31 assists and nine aces to lead the Eagles over the Skyhawks, 25-16, 27-15, 25-14.

Whitney Barlow had 16 kills and 10 digs, and Kendall Miller added 21 digs for Boulder City.

Rancho 3, Agassi Prep 0 — At Rancho, Sydnee Stankosky had six aces and five kills, and Carla Cano served seven aces as the Rams swept the Stars, 25-2, 25-12, 25-12.

Breanna White had three blocks for Rancho.

Beaver Dam (Ariz) 3, Adelson School 1 —
At Adelson School, the Diamondbacks defeated the Lions 25-16, 25-20, 24-26, 28-18.

Delaney Bruckner had 12 kills, 10 aces and 10 digs, and Mackenzie Lally had 37 digs and 11 kills to lead Adelson.
