ROUNDUP: Cabanas lifts Del Sol girls past Patriots

Kaleileihua Cabanas had 13 kills, nine digs and four aces Thursday to lead Del Sol’s girls volleyball team to a 25-13, 18-25, 25-18, 25-14 win over host Liberty.

Rudie-Armida Soria-Bailey and Jerica Barriere each had 11 assists for Del Sol. Eugenia Petkova chipped in five kills, four aces and three digs for the Dragons.

Chaparral 3, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Hannah Kirschbaum had nine aces and eight kills, and Jaeda Allen had 12 kills and three aces to lead the Cowboys to a 24-26, 25-18, 25-18, 25-20 victory over the Miners.

Alex Martinez led Sunrise Mountain with 11 kills and two aces, and Imani Kroon added 26 assists and three aces for the Miners.

Desert Oasis 3, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Tianna Jefferson had 16 assists and 18 digs to help lead the Diamondbacks to a 25-18, 24-26, 25-7, 25-20 win over the Longhorns.

Janae Ballard supplied seven digs, five blocks, and four kills, and Summer Bobenhausen-Kibler notched 14 digs for Desert Oasis.

Emily Valerio had 21 assists and nine digs to lead Legacy, which got 10 digs and six kills from Bianca Boyt.

Bishop Gorman 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Gorman, Shelly Layman tallied 31 assists and four aces as the Gaels beat the Spartans 25-12, 25-4, 25-10.

Alex Ruggero had 11 digs and Gianna Ruggeroli had eight kills and seven digs for the Gaels. Emma Kirst chipped in 11 kills and three blocks, and Francesca Manz had six kills for Gorman.

Erica Padilla had eight assists, and Sarina Cresswell had five digs and two kills for the Spartans.

Durango 3, Western 0 — At Durango, Precious Williams had eight kills and four aces, and Hailee Wilson spiked eight kills as the Trailblazers blanked the Warriors, 25-11, 25-12, 25-22.

Carly Taylor had 13 assists for Durango.

Aleya Ford-Wheaton had three kills and two aces, and Yatzi Carranza added three aces and two blocks for Western.

Foothill 3, Basic 0 — At Foothill, Samantha Douglas had 18 assists, 14 aces and six kills to lead the Falcons past the Wolves 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.

Zoe Wolfenbarger had 16 kills, six assists and six digs for the Falcons, who got four kills from Nicolette White and four aces from Emma Khachikian.

Leah Causey had seven kills and two blocks, and Krysten Tomlinson added five kills for Basic.

Coronado 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Cali Thompson had 32 assists and seven aces to help the Cougars to a 25-15, 25-8, 25-19 sweep of the Sundevils.

Carolyn Andrulis added seven kills and three aces, and Taylor Jackson had six kills for Coronado, which got five kills from Lia Herlosky.

Lexi Vaquero had 19 digs, seven kills and two aces, and teammate Kelsey Griffin supplied 14 digs for Eldorado.

Green Valley 3, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Nikki Drost had 14 kills and six digs as the Gators topped the Bengals, 25-23, 25-11, 25-11.

Carly Schiess had nine kills and seven digs for the Gators, who got 10 kills from Bridgette Dwyer and 33 assists from Amanda Lake.

Sammie Spelman had eight digs, and Vasati Fiatoa had five kills for the Bengals.

Moapa Valley 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Overton, the Pirates defeated the Jaguars 25-9, 25-16, 25-5.

Jazzmin Avalos had five assists and eight digs, and Melissa Benford had two blocks for Desert Pines, which got three aces from Erika Gutierrez.

Boulder City 3, Virgin Valley 0 —
At Mesquite, the Eagles posted a 25-21, 25-23, 25-9 win over the Bulldogs.

Nicole Arquette had 17 assists, five digs and three aces to lead Virgin Valley. Alora Bonner added 16 digs, six kills, three aces and four blocks, and Kirston Tanner supplied 12 digs and three kills for the Bulldogs.

Pahranagat Valley 3, White Pine 0 —
At Alamo, Lineti Lasike had 17 kills and two blocks as the Panthers swept the Bobcats, 25-16, 25-18, 25-13.

Kennedy Huntsman had 21 assists, and Traci Strong served seven aces for Pahranagat Valley. Bailee Hosier had 12 digs for the Panthers.
