Roundup: Centennial tops Faith Lutheran at home

Emily Anderson had 20 kills, 10 aces and 11 digs to lead Centennial’s girls volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-22, 19-25, 25-11 home win over Faith Lutheran on Monday.

Anyese James-Kirkland had nine kills and two blocks, Siara Roberts had six kills, nine digs, two blocks and 43 assists, and Natalie Starlin had eight kills and 15 digs for Centennial.

Ellie Fried led Faith Lutheran with five kills. Alexi Johnson added 14 digs for the Crusaders, and teammate Kyrie Lorfing had 11 assists.

Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Kizzy Rodriguez had eight kills, two aces and 10 digs to lead the Mustangs to a sweep of the Aggies, 25-13, 25-20, 25-13.

Alysha Smith had six kills, two aces and 16 assists, and Madison Norr had six kills for the Mustangs.

Bailey Olbur had four kills and four blocks to pace Arbor View. Kyndall Mitchell had eight assists and two blocks, and Alina Oranchak notched three kills and five digs for the Aggies.

Bishop Gorman 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Tommi Stockham had 12 kills to lead the Gaels past the Grizzlies, 25-12, 25-9, 25-9.

Gorman’s Taylor Jefferson had 10 kills and five aces, Sarah Lychock had 22 digs, Lilly Hoff had 18 assists, and Sydney Lobato had 16 assists and four aces.

Spring Valley’s Emma Lilly Marple had three assists and five digs.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Natasha Obradovic had 10 kills, five aces and six digs to lead the Spartans past the Diamondbacks, 25-10, 25-23, 29-27.

Elise Young had eight kills and two digs, Alexendra Payaan had 13 digs, and Destiny Garcia added 21 assists and eight digs for the Spartans.

Laityn Sarna had four aces, 10 digs, three blocks and 14 assists to lead the Diamondbacks.

Sophia Parlanti had six kills and nine digs, and teammate Adriana Pizzolato had five kills for Desert Oasis.

Palo Verde 3, Bonanza 1 — At Palo Verde, Carli Tanner had 10 kills to lead the Panthers to a 23-25, 25-14, 25-10, 25-14 victory over the Bengals.

Mia Sadler had 17 assists and four aces, Makaya Truman had 14 digs, and Aaliah Largusa had seven kills and five aces for Palo Verde.

Sydney Dunn had 16 assists and five dig for Bonanza, and teammate Aja Johnson had eight kills.

Virgin Valley 3, Tech 1 — At Tech, Taylor Barnum had 18 kills to lead the Bulldogs past the Roadrunners, 23-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-17.

Jessica Barnum and Kendyl Bowler each had 11 kills, Calee Clem dished out 44 assists, and Markell Ludvigson had 32 digs for Virgin Valley.

Pilar Burgess led Tech with eight kills and two aces.

Legacy 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Trinity Wolkenhauer had six kills and six aces in the Longhorns’ 25-11, 25-8, 25-13 win over the Chargers.

Jazmyne Walker added five kills, and Jessia Liu had 10 assists for Legacy.

Coraly Dupree led Clark with three kills and two aces.

Valley 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Valley, Kiarra Brown had six kills and seven aces in the Vikings’ 25-13, 25-11, 25-17 victory over the Jaguars.

Cynthia Castellanos added three kills and six aces, and Andrea Munguia dished out 20 assists for Valley.

Moapa Valley 3, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Dannika Gordon had 12 kills to lead the Pirates to a sweep of the Cowboys, 25-12, 25-10, 25-6.

Shelbi Walker had 10 kills, and Abbie Evans had seven kills. Eden Whitmore served nine aces, and Shyanne Matheson had five aces for Moapa Valley.

Aria Messer had 34 assists and four aces for the Pirates.

Somerset-Sky Pointe 3, Del Sol 2 — At Del Sol, Katie Piet had 12 aces and 16 digs as the Eagles rallied for a 22-25, 25-13, 17-25, 25-13, 15-11 win over the Dragons.

Tuvaelagi Mann had 18 assists, and Emily Lemmon had seven kills for Somerset-Sky Pointe.

Genessa Galibut had 29 assists and three aces to lead Del Sol. Julie Robles added two kills, five aces and two digs, and Hope Yaw notched three aces and seven digs for the Dragons.

Sunrise Mountain 3, Sandy Valley 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Natalie Jaramillo had seven kills to lead the Miners to a 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-21 victory over the Sidewinders.

Daniela Robledo-Toribio added eight aces and 15 digs, and Juana Rivera had four kills three assists and two aces for Sunrise Mountain.

Needles 3, Mohave Accelerated (Ariz.) 1 — At Needles, California, the Mustangs swept Mohave Accelerated.
