Roundup: Centennial’s Siara Roberts does it all in five-set win over Silverado

Siara Roberts had nine kills, 59 assists, 12 digs and three blocks on Thursday to lead Centennial’s girls volleyball team to a 25-16, 23-25, 26-24, 21-25, 15-7 home win over Silverado.

Emily Anderson added 19 kills, one ace and 13 digs, and Natalie Starlin had 15 kills, three aces and 17 digs for the Bulldogs.

Sydney Berenyi led Silverado with 22 kills and 15 digs. Brielen Aquino dished out 62 assists, and Audrey Wood had six kills and two digs for the Skyhawks.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Green Valley 1 — At Cimarron, Natasha Obradovic had 13 kills and six digs in the Spartans’ 25-23, 13-25, 25-18, 25-20 win over the Gators.

Destiny Garcia dished out 27 assists, and Alexandra Payan added 12 digs and two aces for Cimarron.

Lana Benson had 12 kills, and Deijah Spaight had 11 kills for Green Valley. Abby Olsen had 24 assists for the Gators.

Bishop Gorman 3, Liberty 0 — At Gorman, Tommi Stockham had 10 kills and one block, and Sydney Lobato added five kills, 18 assists and two blocks to lead the Gaels to a 25-7, 25-15, 25-11 sweep of the Patriots.

Reese Rossnagel added seven and two blocks for Gorman. Kylie Gibson had nine kills, and Angelina Starck had three kills, four assists and three blocks for the Gaels, who also got 22 assists and two aces from Lilly Hoff.

Alexandra Farnsworth had six kills and five digs to lead the Patriots.

O’ceana Clemens had three kills and four digs, and Tehani Tapuala added 11 assists for Liberty.

Foothill 3, Bonanza 0 — At Foothill, Whitley Brow supplied eight kills, eight digs, and six aces to lead the Falcons to a 25-15, 25-14, 25-7 sweep of the Bengals.

Riana Blount added five digs for Foothill.

Sydney Dunn led Bonanza with 16 assists. Sydney Evelyn Harner had 12 digs, and Zhanna Colin put down eight kills for the Bengals.

Mojave 3, Valley 0 — At Mojave, Sierra Orton had seven kills and nine aces to lead the Rattlers to a 25-13, 25-19, 25-19 sweep of the Vikings.

Savannah Blanchard-Davis added six kills and four aces, and Alexis Otto dished out 18 assists for Mojave.

Kiarra Brown led Valley with seven kills.

Legacy 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Legacy, Kiana Carter served nine aces, and Jazmyne Walker added seven kills and a block in the Longhorns’ 25-7, 25-8, 25-10 win over the Miners.

Vanessa Aponte added seven kills, and Alyssa Fuller had five aces and 12 digs for Legacy, which also got 15 assists from Kamaile Mendonsa.

Liberty Baptist 3, GV Christian 0 — At Liberty Baptist, Jade Halverson had nine aces, eight digs and five kills to help the Knights to a 25-22, 25-14, 25-21 win over the Guardians.

Kelsey Guardiola added four kills, six digs and three aces, and Samantha Dunford served five aces for Liberty Baptist.

Hope Watson led GV Christian with three kills, five aces and three digs. Sofia Gil had six assists and four aces, and Abigail Johnson added two kills, three aces and two digs for the Guardians.

Cheyenne 3, Word of Life 1 — At Cheyenne, Aseret Geraldo had 21 assists and seven aces in the Desert Shields’ 25-11, 25-12, 23-25, 25-16 win over Word of Life.

Eryuan McJoy added six kills, and Miya Burns had five aces for Cheyenne.

Eldorado 3, Clark 1 — At Clark, the Sundevils gutted out a 25-14, 25-13, 25-27, 28-25 victory over the Chargers in the season opener.
