ROUNDUP: Coronado tops Foothill in girls volleyball

Katie Gamsky had 39 assists, seven kills and four aces Thursday to lead Coronado’s girls volleyball team to a 25-21, 25-13, 20-25, 25-18 win over visiting Foothill.

Kuulei Piena had 13 kills and two aces for the Cougars, and teammate Cassie Baden added eight kills and five digs.

Jessica Stevenson had 13 blocks, four kills and three digs, Rhianna Gelhart seven assists and nine blocks and Roseanne Ritchie 14 digs and two aces for the Falcons.

Del Sol 3, Liberty 0 — At Del Sol, Kadie Miller had 20 assists, five kills, six digs and 11 aces as the Dragons downed the Patriots, 25-14, 25-14, 25-21.

Karie Miller added 10 kills and two digs and Kristen Hanks seven digs for Del Sol.

Megan Murphy had four blocks and Phoebe Baker five digs, two kills and two blocks for Liberty.

Silverado 3, Tech 0 — At Silverado, Mary Ewoldt had 28 assists to lead the Skyhawks to a 25-8, 25-12, 25-21 win over the Roadrunners.

Kaitlin Keathley had 12 kills, Chelsea Downey six kills and two digs and Chelsea Tekely five digs and four aces for Silverado.

Kaitlin Lucas had 10 digs and three kills and Jezebet Xaypanya 12 digs for Tech.

Green Valley 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Siga Appelgate had 17 kills to lead the Gators to a 25-11, 25-9, 25-17 sweep of the Wolves.

Jena Chavez had 28 assists, Elizabeth Groesbeck four aces and Sydney Brozovich two blocks for Green Valley.

Hylarie Aguilar had three kills and two blocks for Basic.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Catherine Wyre had 14 kills and 13 digs to lead the Spartans over the Desert Shields, 21-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-19.

Jamie Henrikson had nine kills and three blocks and Jessica White 28 assists for Cimarron.

Crystal Bonnetts had seven kills and three aces and Andrea Schmitz 12 assists, three blocks, three aces and two kills for Cheyenne.

Centennial 3, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Morgan Vieira had 17 assists, 10 digs, three kills and three blocks to lead the Bulldogs to a 25-19, 26-24, 25-16 win over the Mustangs.

Johnna Brown had 13 kills, seven digs and two blocks, Katie Friedlander 10 digs and Alli Tatum five kills and six blocks for Centennial.

Brittany Meyer had 23 assists and seven digs and Kylie Schraft 20 kills, nine digs and five aces for Shadow Ridge.

Legacy 3, Mojave 0 — At Legacy, Kathleen Noorda had 14 assists and six aces to help the Longhorns down Mojave, 25-12, 25-15, 25-17.

Kaylan Hanson added nine kills for Legacy.

Palo Verde 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Palo Verde held off the Aggies, 25-22, 26-24, 25-23.

Maddie McCoy had 14 kills for Arbor View.

Sierra Vista 3, Spring Valley 1 — At Spring Valley, Brooke Robinson had 15 kills to lead the Mountain Lions to a 25-14, 25-19, 19-25, 25-17 victory over the Grizzlies.

Bianca Mendoza had 11 kills and Tabitha Delinger seven kills and four aces for Sierra Vista.

Dominique Acevedo had eight digs and six kills for Spring Valley, which also got eight digs, four kills and two aces from Kylie Robinson.

Durango 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Hayley Spelman had 15 kills to lead the Trailblazers past the Diamondbacks, 25-9, 25-11, 25-16.

Morgan Malone added 24 assists for Durango.

Kelsey Motis had 11 digs and six blocks for Desert Oasis.

Bonanza 3, Clark 0 — At Bonanza, Shirley Pitts had 11 kills and two blocks to lead the Bengals past the Chargers, 25-9, 25-16, 25-20.

Jessica Johnson had six kills and three blocks for Bonanza.

Bishop Gorman 3, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Gorman, Kylie Shaw had 10 kills and eight digs to lead the Gaels to a 25-9, 25-16, 25-20 win over the Trojans.

Brooke McKenna had nine aces, Liz Lisowski 15 digs and Liz Manthei 20 assists and eight kills for Gorman.

Kristi Daffer had nine kills and Taylor Ball four digs for Pahrump Valley.

Laughlin 3, Sandy Valley 0 — At Laughlin, the Cougars swept the Sidewinders, 25-21, 25-13, 25-8.
