Roundup: Dani Mason, The Meadows sweep doubleheader

Dani Mason had nine kills, four aces and six digs, and Dina Kosyagin added three kills, three aces and five digs to lead The Meadows’ girls volleyball team to a 25-9, 25-3 home win over Lincoln County in the opening match of a doubleheader on Friday.

Alexi-Rose Corrigan had five kills, and Mira Gollard notched 14 assists and three digs.

In the nightcap, Mason put down a team-high seven kills, and Gollard dished out 12 assists in the Mustangs’ 25-15, 25-13 win.

Beau Thistle (five kills), Katie Otter (three kills) and Ilana Cohen (six assists) also contributed for The Meadows.

Calvary Chapel 2-2, Needles 0-0 — At Calvary Chapel, the Lions swept a doubleheader from the Mustangs, 25-9, 25-14 and 25-10, 25-10.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Round Mountain 0 — At Alamo, the Panthers defeated the Knights, 25-8, 25-6, 25-5.
