ROUNDUP: Del Sol defeats Rancho as Southeast League sweeps Sunrise quarterfinals

Del Sol’s Kadie Miller had 21 assists and two kills to help the Dragons knock off Northeast League champion Rancho 25-17, 25-11, 25-20 on Monday in the Sunrise Region volleyball quarterfinals at Rancho.
Del Sol’s win led a Southeast League sweep of the four matches.
Karie Miller added nine kills and four digs, and Gaby Luebke had seven kills and four blocks for Del Sol, which finished fourth in the Southeast League. Bryana Chavez added four digs, six kills and five aces for the Dragons.
Aisha Momodu paced Rancho with six kills and five blocks. Kayla Williams added 13 assists for the Rams.
Del Sol will face Silverado in a regional semifinal Thursday at 4:15 p.m. at Centennial.
Silverado 3, Valley 0 — At Silverado, Marilyn Agae had 22 assists as defending state champion Silverado downed the Vikings, 25-11, 25-9, 25-14.
Taylor Richard had nine kills and five digs for the Skyhawks.
Silverado’s Patti Flagg added five kills, and Jessica Witt had four aces and two digs.
Coronado 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Kuulei Piena had eight kills, four aces and two blocks to help the Cougars upset the Sundevils, 25-14, 25-12, 25-18.
Katie Gamsky had 27 assists, three kills and two aces for Coronado. Kristen Herlosky (eight kills), Alexa Herlosky (seven kills, two blocks), Allie Davis (six aces) and Mikayla Delobel (six kills) helped the Cougars, who were the No. 3 seed out of the Southeast.
Eldorado’s Sarah Childs had seven kills, three blocks and two aces. Candace Keele added 12 assists and two aces, and Marissa Mousseau had seven assists, three kills and two aces for the Sundevils.
Coronado will meet Green Valley in a regional semifinal Thursday at 7:45 p.m. at Centennial.
Green Valley 3, Las Vegas 0 — At Green Valley, Jena Chavez had 30 assists and two aces as Southeast League champion Green Valley eliminated the Wildcats, 25-11, 25-16, 25-20.
Siga Appelgate had 12 kills and six digs for the Gators. Sydney Brozovich added 11 kills for Green Valley, and teammate Emma Johnson had six kills and three digs.
