Roundup: Del Sol outlasts Chaparral

Paige Birch had 10 kills, four blocks and three digs on Thursday as Del Sol’s girls volleyball team outlasted visiting Chaparral, 23-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 15-11.

Genessa Galibut had six kills, 16 assists, 13 digs and four aces for the Dragons. Jackie Gurrola added 16 digs, five aces and three kills, and Sierra Rivera had 22 digs and two kills for Del Sol.

Silverado 3, Tech 1 — At Tech, Brielen Aquino had 32 assists, seven aces and 20 digs to lead the Skyhawks to a 25-10, 25-14, 16-25, 25-18 victory over the Roadrunners.

Audrey Wood had 16 kills and nine digs, and teammate Jenna DeSellems had 11 kills and five digs for the Skyhawks.

Karis Fernandez led the Roadrunners with five kills. Kennedy Fortier added four kills and three blocks, and Kaitlyn Harvey had three kills, three aces and two digs for Tech.

Moapa Valley 3, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Pahrump, Sierra Bunker had 11 kills and three aces as the Trojans beat the Pirates, 25-20, 25-16, 18-25, 25-12.

Shayne Matheson and Abbie Evans each had four aces for Moapa Valley.

Pahrump’s Nicky Velazquez had eight kills. Kathryn Daffer had seven kills, and Jacquellen Stobbe had seven assists for the Trojans.

Coronado 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Coronado, Sasha Bolla had 20 kills and eight digs as the Cougars defeated the Mountain Lions, 25-11, 25-23, 25-22.

Cassandra Smits-Van Oyen added 33 assists, three aces and six digs, and Morenike Ajayi had 11 digs and six aces for Coronado.

Audrey Dayton led Sierra Vista with eight kills and 11 digs, and teammate Caleyse Saunders had six kills.

Durango 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Anuhea Faitau had 13 assists, 11 digs, and seven kills, as the Trailblazers swept the Falcons, 25-13, 25-19, 25-17.

Jaylin Ellis supplied 10 kills and 12 digs, and teammate Sophia Dominguez added nine kills and seven digs for Durango.

Kate Prior led Foothill with five kills and five blocks, and Riana Blount had five kills for the Falcons.

Liberty 3, Clark 0 — At Liberty, Aiyana Evans had six aces and six assists to help the Patriots past the Chargers, 25-8, 25-8, 25-14.

Aureana Bernales added five aces and six digs, and Oriana Pulu had eight digs for Liberty.

Tsion Gashaw had four kills to lead the Chargers, and teammate Briannah Paras dished out seven assists.

Green Valley 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Hailey McKinnis had 11 kills and three aces to lead the Gators past the Grizzlies, 25-10, 25-11, 25-10.

Breanna Onori added 18 assists and seven digs for Green Valley.

Sanaa Lloyd had two kills, three assists and four aces to lead Spring Valley

Zoe Williams had five digs, and Simone Beane had three kills for the Grizzlies.

Boulder City 3, Western 0 — At Boulder City, Kamry Bailey had eight kills and six aces to help the Eagles to a 25-6, 25-9, 25-13 win over Western.

Setia Cox added five kills, and Ava Wright had 24 assists and six aces for Boulder City.

Camille Riggs led Western with three kills and 10 digs, and Adrianna Jones had 11 digs for the Warriors.

Liberty Baptist 3, Indian Springs 0 — At Liberty Baptist, Jade Halverson had eight kills, six aces and 22 digs in a 25-15, 25-23, 27-25 win over the Thunderbirds.

Kiley Guardiola added seven kills and 21 digs, and Kelsey Guardiola had nine aces and 15 digs for Liberty Baptist.

The Meadows 2-2, Needles 0-0 — At Needles, California, Dani Mason had a total of 16 kills, 13 digs and five aces to help the The Meadows sweep a doubleheader.

Anna Dorn had 16 assists and seven aces in the first match and six kills two aces and 14 digs in the second for The Meadows, which won 25-11, 25-13 and 25-9, 25-6.

Mira Gollard supplied 21 assists and six aces in the second match for The Meadows.

Adelson School 3, American Prep 0 — At Adelson School, Elizabeth Gutierrez notched 13 kills and 10 aces to lead the Lions to a 25-9, 25-12, 25-20 victory.

Dana Bluevise added 13 kills and eight aces for Adelson School.
