ROUNDUP: Falcons slip past Roadrunners

Christina Nash dished out 29 assists Monday as Foothill’s girls volleyball team outlasted host Tech, 25-18, 26-28, 25-19, 22-25, 15-5.

Kelsey McFarland added 13 kills and Shelby Martinez 11 digs for the Falcons.

Cassie Bosse dished out 26 assists and Jenn Ngonkhambay added eight digs, four kills and three aces for the Roadrunners.

Liberty 3, Basic 1 — At Liberty, Phoebe Baker had 20 digs, 12 kills and six blocks to lead the Patriots over the Wolves, 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Amanda Delgado had 24 digs and 10 blocks and Michelei Claveria had 22 digs for Liberty.

Jennica Flores led Basic with six kills and four blocks.

Green Valley 3, Coronado 0 — At Green Valley, Siga Appelgate had 16 kills and Jena Chavez had 24 assists to help the Gators down the Cougars, 25-15, 25-23, 25-15.

Carly Scheiss had six kills and Liz Groesbeck five kills for Green Valley.

Katie Gamsky had 19 assists, Kristen Herlosky had 10 kills, and Kuulei Piena had eight kills to lead Coronado. 

Silverado 3, Del Sol 0 — At Marilyn Agae had 25 assists to lead Silverado to a 25-4, 25-10, 25-15 win over the Dragons.

Taylor Richard had 19 digs and 10 kills, and Madison Harper chipped in six kills.

Rancho 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Aisha Momodu had eight kills and Rachel Wiltshire served four aces to lead the Rams over the Miners, 25-17, 25-16, 25-10.

Monica Peterson had nine assists and Elise Marshall four kills for Sunrise Mountain.

Valley 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Valley, Brianna Johnson had five kills and five aces to lead the Vikings over the Jaguars.

Lenore Porter had 14 assists and two kills, and Ivy Bustamante added seven kills for Valley.

Las Vegas 3, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Tiffany Jackson had 26 assists and Natresha Bernard had nine kills and three aces to lead the Wildcats over the Cowboys, 25-12, 25-11, 25-10.

Danica Pickett had six kills and four aces and Breanna Melton added eight kills for Las Vegas. 

Faith Lutheran 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Meagan Hauser had seven kills and four aces as the Crusaders routed the Desert Shields, 25-3, 25-12, 25-4.

Faith Lutheran’s Nicole West added six kills and Kelsey McCourt had 21 assists.

Crystal Bonnetts had four assists for Cheyenne. Taylor Lytle had two assists and Shaunice Cameron two kills for the Desert Shields.

Eldorado 3, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Marissa Mousseau had 31 assists, eight kills and four blocks to lead the Sundevils to a 20-25, 25-21, 25-12, 25-16 win over the Pioneers.

Candace Watkins had 16 kills and two blcoks, and Casey Bradshaw added seven kills and five digs for Eldorado.
