ROUNDUP: Grey, Moapa Valley girls charge past Cowboys

Shelbie Gray had nine kills and eight blocks Wednesday to rally Moapa Valley’s girls volleyball team to a 21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-20 win at Chaparral.

Kimberly Lewis had 36 assists, and Alex Peterson and Makenzie Bush each spiked seven kills for the Pirates.

Jaeda Allen paced the Cowboys with 21 kills, four blocks and four aces, and teammate Cheyenne Huntsman had 16 digs and 10 aces.

Sierra Vista 3, Spring Valley 2 — At Sierra Vista, Maeganne Cabias had 11 aces and seven digs as the Mountain Lions outlasted the Grizzlies, 25-22, 22-25, 26-24, 22-25, 15-12.

Kiana Taitano added 25 digs and four aces for Sierra Vista.

Hannah Karas had 20 digs and two kills, and Casey Vanhoose added 23 digs, four kills and two blocks for Spring Valley.

Las Vegas 3, Rancho 0 — At Las Vegas, Marissa Lair had 22 kills and 16 digs, and Matti Ventling distributed 40 assists as the Wildcats swept the Rams 25-19, 30-28, 25-18.

Anjelica Ashworth had 22 digs, and Shaleea Butler supplied nine kills and nine digs for Las Vegas.

Sydnee Stankosky had eight kills and six digs, and Kayla Coles provided eight digs and six kills for Rancho.

Silverado 3, Valley 0 —
At Valley, Kayla Agae had 12 kills, eight digs and four blocks, and Morgan Little added 26 assists and four aces as the Skyhawks swept the Vikings 25-12, 25-10, 25-12.

Cheyanne Phillips had eight digs, and Lauren Purdy had five kills for Silverado.

Taylor Sandhu had eight assists and three digs, and Olga Torres had eight digs and three aces for Valley.

Shadow Ridge 3, Arbor View 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Olivia Denny dished out 28 assists, and Ashley Smith had 13 kills to help lead the Mustangs to a 25-21, 25-19, 25-22 sweep of the Aggies.

Sam Bales supplied eight blocks and seven kills, and Dana Lewis added seven assists to lead Arbor View.

Coronado 3, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, Carolyn Andrulis had nine kills and three aces, and Cali Thompson added 36 assists as the Cougars swept the Patriots, 25-9, 25-14, 26-24.

Taylor Jackson had seven kills, and Brooke Garlick added six kills and eight digs for Coronado, which got six kills from Charlie Spietz.

Luiza Nascimento had five kills and two aces, and Reid Morgavi supplied seven digs for Liberty.

Carina Gargantos had four blocks for the Patriots.

Green Valley 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Green Valley, Jenna Swaffer recorded 11 assists and five aces, and Bridgette Dwyer had 10 kills as the Gators dispatched the Pioneers, 25-9, 25-9, 25-3.

Nikki Drost served seven aces, and Ally Seidler had six assists for Green Valley. Shanna Olsen provided six kills, and Amanda Lake supplied six aces for Green Valley. Carly Schiess added five kills for the Gators.

Emily Tuala had three digs, and Sydney Morris had two kills for Canyon Springs.

Faith Lutheran 3, Western 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Gianni Perryman had 13 assists, and Taylor Richards served nine aces as the Crusaders swept the Warriors 25-9, 25-8, 25-12.

Taylor Hammer spiked seven kills for Faith Lutheran.

Pahrump Valley 3, Mojave 0 — At Pahrump, Payton Hart had 14 kills, and Bryanna Soliwada distributed 12 assists as the Trojans downed the Rattlers, 25-20, 25-14, 25-17.

Breanna Gascoigne served three aces for Pahrump.

Rebecca Espinoza had 10 digs, and RayEna Rael added six digs for Mojave, which got five assists from Courtney Rampolla.

Clark 3, Cheyenne 0 —
At Clark, Claire Law had 18 assists, and Schae Mores added 11 digs to help the Chargers to a 25-10, 25-17, 25-14 sweep over the Desert Shields.

June Roberts and Ashley Ng both supplied six kills for Clark.

Jenna Mecham led Cheyenne with seven kills.

Indian Springs 3, Adelson School 0 — At Indian Springs, the Thunderbirds swept the Lions, 25-11, 25-10, 25-12.
