ROUNDUP: Legacy rallies to edge Sunrise Mountain

Bianca Boyt registered eight kills and three blocks, and Quortney Baker-Judie added eight kills and two blocks Friday as Legacy’s girls volleyball team stormed back for a 20-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 15-11 win at Sunrise Mountain.

Ashly Goor had seven kills and two blocks, and Danielle Dennewitz added eight assists and three digs for the Longhorns.

Janae Yurek-Carhee paced the Miners with 17 kills and two blocks, and teammate Lisa Carter had 22 assists and four aces.

Boulder City 3, Eldorado 0 — At Boulder City, Avalon Frantz dished out 25 assists as the Eagles rolled to a 25-9, 25-8, 25-7 sweep of the Sundevils.

Boulder City’s Whitney Barlow had nine kills. Mallory Bird had six kills and three blocks for the Eagles, and teammate Kaylin Koltyerhan supplied three aces and 11 digs.

Angela Stoneback led Eldorado with 16 digs, and teammate Alexis Vaquero added 15 digs.

Tech 3, Mojave 1 — At Tech, Mikayla James distributed five assists to lead the Roadrunners past the Rattlers, 19-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-19.

McKayla Kimball added three kills and two aces, and Kimmie Rodriguez had two kills for Tech.

Courtney Rampolla had four assists, four aces and three kills, and Pamela Martin added five digs, four kills and four aces for Mojave.

Faith Lutheran 2, Roseville (Calif.) 1 — At Reno, Taylor Richards had eight kills and nine digs as the Crusaders downed Roseville, 17-25, 25-17, 25-13 in the High Sierra Tournament.

Gianni Perryman had 21 assists, and Courtney Hansen supplied eight digs and seven kills for Faith Lutheran.

Faith Lutheran 2, Foothill (Calif.) 0 — At Reno, Perryman dished out 15 assists, and Taylor Hammer spiked five kills as the Crusaders rolled to a 25-6, 25-18 win over Foothill.

Richards had six assists and eight aces for Faith Lutheran.

Faith Lutheran 2, Damonte Ranch 0 — At Reno, Perryman’s 20 assists helped the Crusaders to a 25-15, 25-17 win over Damonte Ranch.

Hammer had seven kills, and Sam Leonard added six kills for Faith Lutheran.

Hurricane (Utah) 3, Centennial 0 — At Centennial, Brooklyn Gubler had 12 kills, and Addie Edwards added seven aces as Hurricane swept the Bulldogs, 25-23, 25-9, 25-23.

Talia Barnes and Cristina Owens each had four kills, and Kristi Farley served four aces for Centennial.

Calvary Chapel 2, Calvary Chapel JV 0 — At Pahrump, Brooke Davis had 11 assists, three kills, two digs and two aces as the Lions beat their own junior varsity, 25-16, 25-13 in the opening match of the Pahrump Valley Invitational.

Deja Harris added 10 digs and eight kills, and Jamie Mejia had three aces, three kills and four digs for Calvary Chapel.

Calvary Chapel 2, Tonopah JV 0 — At Pahrump, Harris and Maddy Sotelo each had four kills in the Lions’ 25-17, 25-8 win over Tonopah’s junior varsity.

Davis had 11 assists, three digs and three kills, and Noelle Miller served three aces for Calvary Chapel.

Pahranagat Valley 2, Calvary Chapel 1 — At Pahrump, the Panthers outlasted the Lions, 17-25, 27-25, 16-14.

Davis had 18 assists and six digs, and Harris added 12 kills and six digs for Calvary Chapel, which got seven digs and six kills from Mejia and nine digs from Lewis.

Tonopah 2, Calvary Chapel 0 — At Pahrump, the Muckers posted a 25-22, 25-16 win over the Lions.

Harris had 12 kills and three blocks, and Davis added 15 assists and eight digs for Calvary Chapel.
